  I bought a water container from the business. They claim to have a lifetime warranty as it is for outdoor use. I complained of a leak from the slider portion and they said ubless I noticed the leak out of the package, they could not warranty the item. I believe they are scamming buyers into thinking they have a lifetime warranty. There are many complaints that their bags leak on their website, ******* and Amazon. I believe they are operating fraudulently and outside the purview of review. I'd like them to remove their claims that their items have a lifetime warranty or replace my item. My issue is a slider issue which is not referenced in their warranty statement.

  Just as replied to the customer in the email he decided not to include:

  "We offer a warranty under those terms: "All our products come with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship." This relates to the storage, use and age of products according to normal use. We can't guarantee the way your Vecto was stored, protected or used in the last 4 years. Since we are dealing with a material that can degrade (from our warranty page): "The Vecto is made from TPU, which is a porous material that can degrade over time depending on exposure to high or low temperatures, UV rays, and abrasion.", it has a limited lifetime warranty. For thru-hikers that might be 2 months, for some backpackers it is a whole year, but it is never more than that as defects show in the first use if they exist from production or strain repeatedly.

  The customer decided to not fully read our warranty details but the first line without further reading. As mentioned, our warranty is "a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship", those do not appear after 4 years of a fully welded water container, but after the first use. 

  The customer, once again, "conveniently" didn't mention that the product is over 4 years old and been stored in uncontrolled environment.

  We are proud of our customer support and warranty coverage within reason, this is an example of why brands need to restrict warranties further to avoid abuse. A $20 water container that is over 4 years old is not covered under "limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship".
