I got a car wash at the *********** Kaady. During the last portion of the procedure my proximity alarm started going off. When I exited the tunnel it was steady so I drove around, parked, investigated. I found that the sensor had been pushed into the engine compartment. I had to deactivate the system to turn off the constant alarm. I got an attendant, filled out a situation report. I was told they would contact me in a couple days, they did not. My phone contact was not responded to. I am seeking compensation to have the safety feature on my car fully restored

I took my truck through Kaady car wash on a regular basis (once a week) and never have had issues at all however on March 6th 2024 I went through the car wash and when finish I alway stop and dry my vehicle. On this day I went to dry the top off of the cab and noticed some scratches and two chips out of my paint as I looked closer I noticed the entire cab of my truck was severely scratched and had scratches on my rear window as well. I then. Proceeded to the employee to show them the damage. At this point he walked over to his manager that was on duty and they stood on the little office room where I watch the two of them giggle together before (the Manager) came out and stated he was a 8 year veteran employee and he would be taking my statement and photos of my vehicle. He then stated that a customer service specialist would contact me with 48 hours. I then got a text iMessage (not a call as a someone in customer service would normally do) from someone two days later with 4 pictures of 1 small scratch (I believe came from the time before this) saying he would like to meet with me in a week. I then had to take time off of work and went to meet with the customer service specialist who was nothing short of unprofessional told me that there car wash uses foam arms that could not damage my vehicle and that they would not be responsible because there machines move side to side (the photos of damages I sustained are scratches from passenger to drivers side on top of cab and rear window) on trucks which is untrue. He then proceeded to tell me I could waste my time if I wanted to get a lawyer or call my insurance company and have them fix it. Needless to say he already had claimed no responsibility before I met with him so solely wanted me to meet with him for no reason costing me money for time loss from work.

I purchased a used car three weeks ago. We drove to the beach. When we returned I took my car to be washed at kiddy car wash. I felt a knock on my car from the brushes and when I was. About to leave the track I noticed a crack all the way down my windshield. It also looks like a place of impact on the bottom of the windshield where it had more than one tacked line. I pulled over and reported it before leaving the car wash. They filled out a claim form. The. Next day they emailed me to say sometimes this happens and basically. I paid them ten dollars to break my windshield. I called. And asked to speak to a manager. All he did was tell me that someone who works for ****** say sometimes windows break. That was all I got. I dont know how this mans opinion should be a defining factor or have any relevance. Its not lousy customer service it is no customer service at all. They took pictures of the damage. That was a waste of time

The incident is regrettable but glass is unpredictable.   Even new car warranties rarely cover it.  Before entering the wash a bright yellow and black sign spells out that customers are responsible for windshields.  I encourage this customer to file with their insurance.  In many cases they cover replacement with little or no out of pocket expense.

Once every week I have drive through and spent money at Kaady. *****. a week for 9 years adds up. I wont return to this company again. This week I was sitting in my car - after the technician rang me up and wrote on my windshield and then checked around my car for damage. I didnt have a single crack or chip in my windshield. During the car wash when the giant sponge comes down onto the windshield something that sounded like a rock hit the windshield and it completely cracked down the center. I tried to get the attention of ****** who wasnt paying attention standing near the exit of the car wash. I immediately pulled around and I validated with the same cashier that I didnt have any damage when he rang me up. He calls ****** and she comes over and fills out a form (with the wrong date and time btw) and tells me someone will call me within ***** hours. No calls - nothing. I call and no one calls back. Fast forward to tonight I get a very poorly written generic email about Kaady pretty much not doing the right thing. Also using the read the yellow signs does nothing when my windshield was in perfect condition when I came in. Way to read off a script ****. Thankfully I have comprehension coverage on my car - and thankfully the giant company I work for in ********* has legal support.

I have spoken to auto dealers that had glass break during the test drive of a new vehicle.  Glass is unpredictable.  My windshield broke in the driveway overnight.  ********* shop can give you a long list of similar stories.  We do not cover glass for the same reasons that most new cars exclude glass from their warrantees.

I am rejecting this response because:

It doesn't matter how unpredictable glass is, it still happened going through a Kaady car wash. The windshield was in undamaged condition immediately prior to entering the car wash.

This doesn't seem like a very professional reply from a customer service focused company. I have also spoken with *** and they can provide conversation and communication that unless hit with something impactful, which was previously explained, and communicated both on the day of the incident that the windshield wouldn't just crack.  Safelite glass repair and ******************** also communicated that an un-damaged windshield that is impacted by something within the car wash that cracked it, doesn't make it unpredictable.

Please provide the documentation and communication regarding your conversation around my 2017 *** ******* that you had regarding the unpredictability of windshields, and as a business if you could please provide your name and POC for future communication that would be greatly appreciated.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I've been a customer for over 15 years and am highly dissapointed with the service I have recieved from Kaady Car Wash recently. My windshield was cracked from their machinery on September 30. I had to take the time to meet with *********************** (customer service specialist), whom was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. He would not provide me with upper managements direct contact information and just walked off after stating he would not be liable for the damages on my vehicle. To those who are reading this review...BE CAREFUL when you bring in your car through these car washes because they will not take responsibility it your car gets damaged.I am requesting that Kaady Car Wash pays for the repair fees for my windshield and to cancel my existing monthly membership.

On 6 September 2022 I took my car (**** ********* to the ******** Kaady location for a wash; after exiting the car to vacum I noticed my passenger side front bumper insert had been ripped from the bumper. After speaking with the car wash attendance they finally located the insert at the exit section of the wash. The Kaady associate on duty named ***** took photographs and told me that I would be contacted later. I was then contacted by *********************** (customer service specialist) and met him at the car wash where he took more pictures of the damage and he told me I would be contacted by the customer service manager the following week. Instead I was contacted by ******* again the following week and told that they were not responsible for the damage because the insert was "already loose." Left unexplained is how he could determine the panel is loose after the panel had been ripped from the bumper by the car wash. The panel was most certainly not loose and if it had been it would be reasonable to assume the panel would have been ripped from the bumper at the start of the wash and not at the exit section of the wash. Nor did the attendant on duty note any damage or discrepancy on the front bumper prior to entering the wash. I believe is ***** car washes responsibility to repair the damage to my vehicle.

I went to the Kaady Car Wash at ****************************************** in ********* **********. I paid for a regular car wash and went home. The next day I noticed spots all over the front, hood, windshield, and sides of my car. I washed my car again (at home) and really scrubbed to try and remove the spots. They wouldn't come off. Not only have they started eating away at my paint, I can not see out of my windshield when driving. I went by and filed a customer complaint and was called by ************************* who said that I had to meet with another person to look at the damage. I went back to the car wash and met with *********************** who although took pictures of my car, immediattly denied that it was the car was that damaged my car. He tried to tell me it was sap, but sap doesn't have a spray pattern and doesn't cover that much surface of the car. If it was sap it wouldn't be down the sides of the car. Sap also comes off....this doesn't. He then told me that he has been in the insurance business for a long time and he "knew what he was talking about." He told me that I would have to take my car to a detail shop. Another thing is that the spots are irredecent like the chemicals they use at the car wash. He just telling me over and over that it wasn't their fault and that everyone at Kaady was going to agree with him. Well that's what happened. Everyone agreed (even though **** was the only one that looked at my car). My car wasn't involved in any other circumstance that could've caused this. I noticed it the very next day. Upon, reading reviews about Kaady, I quickly realized that they are notorious for damaging vehicles and not taking any responsibility for the damage. Some of the reviews even mentioned *********************** and it was basically word-for-word what he said to me. One review I found said that they told the customer to get 2 estimates and after the customer got the estimates (which takes time out of you work day) they refused to pay for it because it was "too much".

I took my car through a Kaady Car Wash on 8/14. Upon exiting the car wash, I noticed a lengthy crack in my windshield. There were no rock chips or anything like that at the origin of the crack. I filed a report at the car wash. Received a call back on 8/16. I was told that Kaady takes no responsibility for cracked windshields unless they see in video surveilance of my car going through the car wash, that a mechanical failure happened and that led to the crack. They further stated that they have is posted that they take no responsibility for windshield cracks, unless their equipment failed and resulted in the crack.Well - not happy to have to pay $1,300 for a new windshield that was perfectly fine prior to going through the car wash.
