Their products are great, shipping time sometimes slow. They run ALL of their giveaways, special promotions, contests, etc ONLY through social media. So despiite giving them your email address and mobile # to send you ad after ad after ad and ordering through their website, a person can ONLY enter their contests and giveaways through social media. Many of us do not have a presence on social media and do not want one, yet we gladly support those who do, and we are discriminated against. While I love their products I disagree wirh their discrimination! I will no longer suppirt their business ( which I have done plenty of over the past several years!) I have asked them to delete ALL of my info and no longer contact me with their many ads to buy, buy, buy while NOT supporting ALL of their customers.Portland Leather Goods Response

While we do periodically run giveaway campaigns through our email marketing lists or website, it is true that we also run many giveaway campaigns through our social media channels to ****** our online community! We regret that this customer feels discriminated against as a result, as that of course is not at all our intention. We are taking her feedback under advisement.Review from Seth S

As sizing has stated, that these tend to run big - I ordered my wife the 1/2 size to large on shoes for Mother's Day. Please don't support a company that is unwilling to refund or exchange the shoes. From a contact number that intentionally doesn't exist on your website to the subtle f*ck you from customer service.Review from Rachel C

I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband and myself. Without noticing I accidentally ordered an almost perfect pair for myself when I meant to order a premium pair. It was a genuine accident, I emailed them literally within 2 minutes of placing my order explaining the mistake. They responded back saying its too difficult for them to make manual adjustments to orders. I can understand if I waited days to contact them about this mistake but it was minutes within the order being placed. So this will be the first and last time I order from them. I can get good quality leather shoes elsewhere that provide a better more accommodating customer experience. Also their website doesnt have a customer service number which I found odd and inconvenient.Review from Jennifer C

I bought a small body crossover bag in black. I took it on vacation. Not knowing at first it was the bag, it ruined an expensive brand new white blouse worth $100 and two $25 t-shirts. Once we realized it was the black on the bag rubbing off, I stopped using the purse and had nothing to use for the rest of my trip. No where did I see, when purchasing the bag, that the black color could potentially rub off and ruin my clothes. I would never have bought it. There was also nothing inside my bag to warn me of this. I would never buy a bag, with the chance of it ruining my clothes!***** with Portland Leather, only offered a refund, never mind, my clothes cost more than the bag! Im out more money and I feel this company is scamming people by not posting this very important information on their website! Order #******* on March 2, 2024, during the **** website sale. For 2 pairs of shoes that I need for my ********** job. My heart is broken and in ***** pics, I am 65 and on a fixed income, plus my father just passed away. I have never had a problem before with ordering online. I was nervous to order, I used my apple cell phone and PL web page would change when I was viewing their shoes and I just assumed I had ordered the right shoes. I was so nervous that it appears the web page kept changing bc I am a size 9.5 womens and wanted both shoes 7.5 in mens. At check-out I intended to use PayPal payment plan (which it recommended PayPal) assuming it would take me to, but completely noticed it came out of my bank account, no PayPal payment page. I immediately called PayPal and they said, Portland leather refused any payment plans, but PL never informed me of it at check out. I was stunned!!! I dont have that kind of money, up front of $100!!! In addition, PL does not offer a working customer service active phone number. US companies offer an operating CS line for issues but NOT this company!!! I am not a ******** user but am to the point of contacting the *** bc this is completely so wrong of how PL deceits its customers. I have used contact us on PL main web page and no one has ever reply to me. I have also emailed them, explaining, and giving details and again no reply. How horrible!!! At least ***** replies, Amazon replies, every US company replies but NOT this one! I have lost my dad; I have lost money, and I havent received those shoes. It was a horrible experience and just need my money back or get the correct shoes sent to me. It was a horrible experience at check out. No customer should have to go through this. terrible customer service. Their quality of products has went severely down the last couple of years. There's no quality control and when you email ** they always put a positive spin on themselves and refuse to make the problems right, leaving you with crappy products. Now they don't allow you to cancel your orders, making you have to return them later on where they give you back a portion of your cost and pay return shipping OR make you choose store credit. Their products are coming from the warehouse with oxidation and rust on the hardware on a brand new product and they claim it's normal and to just wash it. Between the ** and the products, we need to stop buying from them while they regroup.Portland Leather Goods Response

Although they said it could be ***** hours for a response, I had one within **************************************************************************** generosity. I feel completely duped and lied to! I ordered a pair of shoes that in their own description stated runs true to size. So I ordered my normal size. The beautiful shoes came, and unfortunately were either made incorrectly or sized incorrectly because I couldnt even put my foot all the way in. Caused excruciating pain! They will not exchange the shoes! I can return them on my dime for a store credit and make another purchase. However, these were purchased on a sale that no longer exists and the price is much higher now. I feel they do send the incorrect product on purpose, knowing theyll make extra money off of us to get the correct size. I will never recommend or use this company again! They clearly do not care about their customer at all! In fact, they dont even have a phone number to talk to a human being. They must know how awful they are that they dont even want the availability to hear it themselves.Portland Leather Goods Response

We offer sizing advice based on customer feedback on every listing so customers can make the most educated choice possible when making a purchase. Our company does not offer exchanges through our Returns Portal and the customer was informed of the alternative, which is to return for store credit in the form of a gift card (which earns the customer free return shipping) and place a new order for a different size. It is our policy not to price match outside of the dates of a given sale, and the customer was also informed of this. In lieu of the price match, the customer was offered a 30% discount to place their new purchase at a discounted price. The customer declined. We waived all return shipping fees associated with this return so the customer could receive a full product refund as a courtesy.Review from Laura S

I ordered a size 7. I waited TOO long fir the shoe to arrive. When it did it wS a Frankenstein size 10. They included NO packing slip and NO instructions for exchange or return. I now have to take time out if my already limited schedule, repack the Frankenstein shies drag to the post office and spend 30$ of money that I don't have to return this product. I guess the people they hire are unable to read and they certainly don't double check their orders before sendingPortland Leather Goods Response

Customer accidentally ordered the incorrect size - order details indicate they ordered a size ****. They reached out on both the 19th and the 22nd, and we responded on the 22nd, within our current 2-5 day response window to provide the customer instructions for completing an exchange. We also offered to waive our standard return label fee as a courtesy since they ordered the incorrect size by mistake. As of this response the customer has not yet initiated a return.
