I went in to buy a couple shots from the liquor store and I inquired of the manager kicking homeless people off their property for playing music because it was a nuisance. I was explaining to him in the store thought to have more compassion with elderly disabled homeless people because we are in the middle of a pandemic and he got really loud with me and offended when I asked for his name. Then because I was inquiring about his name and last name and also his coworkers name is **** she refused to tell me her last name because she said that I don't have to and I said it was for business purposes and as a other business owner I authorized you to tell me your first and last name so I can file a report to the better Business bureau and they told me that I have to leave and ask me to leave because I asked him a question about his last name and she ended up raising her voice at me and being very intimidating saying that I'm not welcome there. I am in a woman of color and I've seen how they treat other non people of color that are elderly and homeless and it was very disgusting they don't understand how to talk to people and very unprofessional and no customer service. I just asked him for his name and he got all out of proportion and got very disrespectful and love with me and asked me to leave when I was already leaving anyway after I purchased my alcohol. I think there needs to be an investigation done because of how they are judgmental and treat people especially if you look homeless or potentially homeless if you are a customer they 86 a group of elderly people because they were a nuisance playing music and lied and saying that they were violent trying to break guitars over people's heads when I know that's not the truth because I spoke to them the transient elderly people that mean no harm and they were very nice and kind to me. my grandfather and mother own properties in the Lloyd Center area and I'm just completely disgusted not with just my treatment but how they treat other people. I know the owner's first name is *** but he refused to give me his last name name and yelled at me to get out of his business when I just simply asked and did not want any confrontational problems his first and last name and got very defensive this business needs to be under investigation and it's very unprofessional and doesn't need to be treating people of any race class religion ethnicity or sexuality of any type of way they're unprofessional and not even registered in the business BBB system as an official business. because they are not BBB accredited. please have someone investigate this business. thank you my name is ******* and I was completely appalled and how they were treating elderly people and also me as a young entrepreneur woman of color.
