This is completely ridiculous. In order for me to purchase ads on social media and local directories, I have to submit my company to being thoroughly analyzed by Legit Script. Legit Script charges the average healthcare Provider $5,000 just to be found online. This is obviously a gatekeeping process with a sprinkle of "antitrust" unethical business practices. The only people who benefit from this process are the large healthcare corporations, as they have the funds to pay the extortion level fees that Legit Script has created. Legit Script is NOT a government agency or a state regulatory board. They should not be allowed to regulate anyone. Social media platforms need to stop being lazy. If they want to verify a provider's credentials, they should create their own departments for doing so.Review from KENDALL S

Legit is extortion to medical professionals and starting out wanting to enter the already cost heavy medical industry. There pricing is extortion, and it is due every year. All they do is verify credentials. We are already board certified and state certified. Which can be easily verified by any company. At last check they wanted 4000 dollars and 2000 yearly renewal. Which means in order to advertise online you need 7000 dollars to get started. What you're paying for is not worth that, there going around these company's that are half brain dead that cannot figure out how verify medical providers. They are not a government board it is third party company offer verification services, which false advertising on their part. Apparently they increased the price from affordable to and I was told by a rep they are going to increase it again. Also if I wanted completed quicker I would need to pay an extra 1000 dollars. how can this be legal!?Review from Martin R

It is a scam to profit from the already highly regulated healthcare industry plain and simple. If a facility can successfully obtain and continuously maintain state licensing and CARF or **************** accreditation under their rigorous compliance standards, then they shouldn't have to obtain this phony certification as well. They are not a government agency, have no disciplinary power and are only certifying what has already been certified by the state and the nationally recognized organizations noted above. The vast majority patients seeking care have never heard of Legitscript.Review from Paul H

LegitScript certifies? well who certified the certifiers? Seems like a total scam. If you are board certified and fully licensed you shouldn't have to pay this overlord for approval to then pay G.oog.le for ads.Review from Nicholas H

This is completely ridiculous. In order for me to purchase ads on ******* they wanted me to submit to certification through this third party I've never even heard of. I'm already fully licensed and board certified through my state regulatory boards, why would I also need to pay and have the approval of these grifters? I refuse, my business will NOT be extorted.
