  I hired a contractor to repair damages from a tree falling on my property. It punched several holes in the roof, damaged almost half of my fence and destroyed my deck. The roof was repaired, the inside was fixed, the fence was done but it wasnt done properly and is a mess, and the deck which he replaced the boards on the flooring but never completed it, was a shoddy job, uneven and a mess, I told him this was unacceptable. When he finally came out to do something with it, he took it down to the dirt. It has been this way for over 3 weeks now, Ive text, called and left voicemails, and nothing in return. I feel as though since he told me last time we spoke that he was barely making money off the job because he replaced the whole roof and the insurance company wanted to pay for a partial roof and he felt that the whole roof needed replacing. Now I think he is leaving me hanging and not going to complete the job he has been paid to do. Also, he has been paid in full since he kept asking for money for materials. I gave him checks as I got them. I know I shouldnt have, but Ive never filed an insurance claim and didnt know.Thanks ******************* ************

  On February 15th I advanced the owner of this business ********************* $1,375.00 through Venmo for payment of snow removal services he provided to my office. I advanced this payment because our company approval for the work was taking too long. We decided that I would pay him and he would reimburse me after the business paid him. That payment was completed on March 8th 2022. ***** brought me a check, number **** dated 04/11/2022 in the amount of $1350.00 but I have been unable to cash that check when I have taken it to the bank. Furthermore ***** has not made contact with me to make payment. I offered to let him make payments and at one point offered to let him work it off doing work on my house. He failed to set either of those up, so I decided I didn't want a business that engaged in fraud to have access to my home and withdrew that offer.
