In June 2023 I paid fee of $600 to set up my practice through NP Telehealth. It has been increasingly difficult to speak with someone. I have been unable to contact them. All communication has been initiated by me. My website is not complete and I have not been credentialed by any insurance companies. All the phone numbers I have and links do not work.

On June, 2023, I paid $600 with the perception that I would receive credentialing for insurance companies in my state, an EMR set up ,snd receive patient referrals for telehealth. On top of that I paid $250 more for malpractice insurance but later learned that they enrolled me to a wrong type of insurance which did not reflect what I paid for. Communication has only been initiated by myself, and I have been given one excuse after another from employees being switched to other lame ones. The entire process was supposed to take 90 days. Today makes 365 days. I would like my money back!

This company sent me an email last year stating they can help me start up a telehealth practice. I paid the $600, since then, communication has been an issue. This is now 8 months, no practice in place, they keep claiming I have not been credentialed and that some of my credentials have been denied but when I ask the reason why, they dont respond. They built a website and would not provide me with my website domain and hosting credentials so I can make my new website go live because the website they built did not have some of the professional features I wanted. Im afraid they are committing social security fraud with my person information. They do not have a physical address and their phone numbers are not real numbers. Im concerned about my personal information. They took $250 to purchase liability insurance but purchased the wrong one and would not refund my money. Someone help me, my information is out there for their fraudulent use

This company NP telehealth sent me an application online to fill out so that they claimed they can help me start my telehealth business just like all the other complainants about this company on this site. They are disgustingly dishonest now that they had my information. They kept avoiding my calls after they had my information on their application then suddenly months later I received a call from an ****** lady with thick accent I barely understood who wanted $600 to get me started with website, connect and sign me up with all healthcare carriers and claimed shes a *** based company with a very English name. When I pressed her what state she kept repeating one of the *** states but I could hear the call came from a foreign line. She asked for my credit card when I offered to send her a check thats when her mood and tone changed. It didnt feel right insisted on my credit card info and I think she realized that I was getting uncomfortable as I told her this whole thing sounds like a scam. She honestly could not answer basic questions regarding NPs duties and healthcare professional role or this so called program. It was bizarre and I barely understood so I had her repeat but I knew that this whole think seems extremely weird and I never heard back from these people. I guess these people dont want to receive checks made out to an ****** account! I have reported them to the authorities with their NPI number to be investigate and to ensure no other NPs go through this h*** we all have been through. Luckily, I dont lose my money but they may have compromised my information. Please report them! For all NPs that got scammed approx $600 I am really sorry as I know we work hard for our money! Be vigilant if it sounds too good to be true then it is! Especially, the most scammers are based in ***** then Russia. Local *** scammers are usually claim its regarding your bank accounts. Must admit I was very close to providing my credit card info!

NP Telehealth emailed me on 3/12/2023 about an an opportunity to open up my own Telehealth business. They promised that if I pay a flat fee of $600, they would create my website, business platform, and management. I created an LLC which cost about $225 to create my business. *** spent a lot of time and energy trying to build this business but NP Telehealth Services gave empty promises. They said that the insurance credentialing process should take no longer than 6 months, which we are way past that point. Every time I tried to follow up, I either get a work around or theres been staff changes. Ive attached documents for the initial email that was sent about the program. I am reporting this business because when asking some professional colleagues they said that this company was a scam. I do not want others to fall for this trap and waste their money and time. I am reporting them to the board of nursing as well because they have all of my personal information including SSI, address, licenses, voided check, NPI information, etc. I am afraid theyre also committing insurance fraud with my information.

We have attached a copy of service level agreement copy which is signed by ***************** and mentioned we never force any client to pay

      Complaint: 21118016

I am rejecting this response because:

      1. I've reached out to this company about follow up and they kept telling me "I will update you later" and never gave me an update. They've NOW been trying to contact me after this complaint. And it is a complete stranger that is calling me - their personnel has all changed, which is also another red flag.

      2. I've submitted ALL the paperwork that was necessary to get my credentialing complete. My credentialing process with the company I just started took less than 1 month across multiple states. The process should not take this long. One of the paperwork required from me was something that would cost me thousands, and I will no longer spend money into this knowing that it is a scam.

      3. You have not delivered on your promises on getting my company ready. I should already be seeing patients and getting profits as promised back in October 2023.

      4. I do not wish to speak to anyone from this company as I've lost complete trust. I am filing this report to warn others about this company and to let them know not to use them. I've been patient long enough and gave them plenty of time, but they did not deliver.

      Sincerely,

      *****************

This company reached out to me back in March 2023 to help me start my NP telehealth business. They needed a $600 initially to set up my business including website, platform, and credentialing. They said this process would take about 3-6 months to complete. My current employer got me credentialed across multiple states within a month without any problems. It has been well over that time frame, and I do not want to waste more time on a company that is giving empty promises. Whenever I reached out them, they would say "I'll give you an update later." But the updates did not lead to anywhere. I am frustrated and I'm positive this company is a scam. I am afraid they took my personal information and are committing insurance fraud. The last thing they asked from me was 'malpractice insurance,' but that'll cost thousands. I do not trust this company and want to warn others not to use this company.

      Hi *****,

Whatever we have promised are being processed accordingly. Your attached screenshot is a self evidence that we are communicating to respond you. We have another insurance credentialing report where insurance rep said that you have not picked the insurance calls for many insurances like UHC, CIGNA, HUMANA, BCBS, they were calling to confirm the credentialing contract.

I would urge you to kindly pickup the insurance calls on timely manner so that we can deliver the services under the committed timeline. you should understand that we are service provider but ultimately insurance company has to enroll you and it is only possible if you will pick up the call and respond insurances on timely manner.

Kindly review the complaint again and complete the process. We will wait for you call.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received any phone calls from any of the aforementioned companies. Aetna is the only insurance company that has reached out to me.

II have reached out on November 10th, 2023 and never got a response.  There is minimal communication, and any communication has been me initiating it.

      Sincerely,
