11/29/2023 My truck was unlawfully towed from 88th and ******* ******** ****** License plate 978 NGN Expires March ****. **** GMC Sierra **** truck was parked on a public road and was not abandoned at all. There were two utility trailers that were green tagged on 11/26/23 giving me 72hrs to move them but they did not get towed when they took my truck @aprx 2:30pm. My truck sat between them but was never tagged. Unlawful tow of vehicle. MY DOG WAS INSIDE OF THE ****** A FIVE POUND CHIWAHWAH . ******Customer response

I had speeds towing came to aid pbot in a tow I was clearly not parked in the same spot when tagged I uad a vechile on my tow truck a **** jeep grand Cherokee it was being towed when my truck broke down I left my truck for ten minutes and they came in that ten minutes and started to hook up my truck they toweda o91 **** f450 rollback with a **** jeep on top of it they towed it to there yard then cut my chain and seperated the two vehicles i got the 91 **** f450 out with in 24 hours they charged me for seperated tows even thoe they only towed one vechile i technically towed the jeep in on my truck that they towed i just don't think it's right for them to charge me for something they are claiming they did and is it even legal to seperate the two vechiles apart cause it was chained down to the vechile and pull tieght by my wench I would consider tht being part of the vechil at that point my chaulin was cut off my truck and never returned so when i got my truck out the jeep should of came with it especially sense i got it out within 24 hours the towInitial Complaint

Speed's Towing towed and auctioned off a car I had previously owned. I told them that I did not own that car.VIN #***************** OR Plate :ZNM 835 They sent ************************ to collect $574.52 from **** contacted the *** to confirm that I notified them and they said I had. They mailed me the bill of sale which I forwarded to Speed's Towing. Speed's Towing said that was not good enough. I informed them of: ORS ******* Effect of notice of transfer on civil and criminal liability. They continue to harass me on this issue.Business response

They participated in the nonconsentual towing of my 2008 ****** Quest and ****** from the location of 115 and Holgate on 10/31/22. They towed it under false pretense and failed to issue me any documentation regarding the tows. They then denied my access due to a hold being placed on it. They prevent me from the retrieval of my property. They also fail to issue any documentation for the several items they towed from 113th and ***************** in aug. 2022 Tows occured on 8/16,8/18,&10/31/22. It was stealing and they need to be held accountable. They deny my access but can sell it out from under me. ? It's called stealing and is unacceptable. Consider this your notice of claim as well should this complaint go unaddressed and un remedied otherwise. And I will commence in further legal actions for the recovery of damages.No Receipts issued by tow truck driver either as required by ORS.Please fix this problem before we have to go to court.Business response

********************* has already made a complaint to the ****** DOJ.
Our response was 4 part.
1. No vehicle information, such as plate or VIN makes it impossible to verify what vehicles she is talking about, but we made our best guesses based on date and approximate location.
2 On or about that date we did tow vehicles from a homeless camp cleanup, the ****************, PBOT and **************************** were doing. I will now refer to those entities as (City)
3. We were providing tow services for the City at the City's direct oversight. Any complaint she has over the validity of the tow reason needs to be taken up with the City
4. I checked all of the vehicles we towed that day, and none of the *** records show her as the Registered Owner. If she did buy any of those vehicles from anyone, neither the seller nor *********************, notified *** of the transaction within the timeline required by the ***************

This issue is not resolved. They prevented me access to my 2008 ****** Quest LX minivan that was towed on , 10/31/22 from ******** and ************.
They failed to respond at first and now they give some lame excuses. They illegally towed me and then prevented my access to my vehicle. Denying me access to my personal property that was left in the van. The city is also at fault but it was Speeds towing that prevented my recovery and sold my property. Many laws were broken and it's time for accountability.

We towed this vehicle at the request of the ****************. Any issues concerning the legality of the **************** having this vehicle towed, needs to be taken up by the ****************. As for the Hold on the vehicle, again, the **************** determines which vehicles and for how long there are Holds. We do not get to make that decision.
As for selling the vehicle.
We follow the current ****** laws concerning the lien and sale of vehicles.
We request *** records for the vehicle and the last Registered Owner is notified at the address listed on the *** records.
If the vehicle was sold, and neither party notified *** of the Sale or if only partial information was given to *** then we would be unable to mail a notice to an unknown person at an unknown address.
The **************** website *************************************************** is where a complaint can be filed with the City

In referance to 18559719
Speeds Towing is just as guilty for the unconstitutional takings of my property as The **************** is. They cant think the city will cosign stealing or any other criminal actions. They are both at fault and must accept responsibilty. They openly admit selling it so i dont understand why they havent paid me. They openly state they sold my property. There also was an expensive generator and cell phone in that van.
A ***** E3000ui that retails for $2599

I bought a car at Speeds Auto Auction in 1/19/21. I have been to ****** DMV on several occasions to get the car registered with the documents they provided. I went back to this auction place a couple more times to fix any problem with their paperwork. I called them several more times to resolve this issue and I was hung up on and given the run around. I am still trying to get this car legal. I even went to ********************* that is on the application for replacement title. It appears to us that this car and the owners who have ***** of ******** *********************************** ,Supertow LLC, have sold this car improperly, and I would like to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Its been a struggle getting any legal documents from them. Please review this matter and help if you can. Im considering legal action.Initial Complaint

We purchased three vehicles on September 28th, 2021. We were told that we would get the titles within 30 days. We have called daily to get the titles, and have received replies ranging from the seller will be in today with the title to we sent the seller an official you have 15 days to submit title.There is still no resolution. Are we able to return the cars and get our money back? This company is horrible and doesnt do what they say they will.Business response

I have just spoken to ****, ******************** wife, and let her know that we have been actively working with the sellers of the vehicles that she is referring to, a **** and an Infiniti, to help resolve their titling issue. I also let her know that these vehicles are sold here on consignment and that any complaints they have really need to be directed to ****** Auto Sales and ************************** Both companies have offered to let them return the vehicles.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The business basically called **** and basically said this is not their fault and should withdraw our complaint. They need to change their policy and stop accepting vehicles that they dont have the title to. I paid them a lot of money and yet I can not resell or even use the vehicles as I need a registration to use the vehicles, and to get a vehicle I need the title.I think you will agree that it is not a sound business practice to sell someone a vehicle in which they cant also turn over a title to. Waiting longer than 30 days is unacceptable and in fact is against *** guidelines. We will be filing a complaint with the *** as well.
to summarize: they ***** their responsibility to complete the sale in a timely manner even though we have paid them in full while they dont deliver the title within 30 days as promised. Stop accepting vehicles or stop selling vehicles until you have title in hand. Simple solution.
