STAY AWAY! "Incompetent" is the only way to describe this company. I made the mistake of buying my dream car from Lapin Motor Co. At first, I thought they were amazing because they talked such a great game. However, they simply CAN'T keep their word. When I first went in I told them I needed the car shipped to Michigan and they said they could facilitate it and it would be $1000. When the car arrived, the bill was $2000. To Lapin's credit, they did pay for half the difference ... but still, that's a pretty unprofessional thing to do. They also promised that they would take care of registering the car and that a Michigan title would be mailed to me. After 2.5 months I called and they told me they "forgot" to do it. This began the process of calling and texting them a minimum of 15 times without a response, or with a promise to call back that never happened. When I finally received the title they had signed it in the wrong spot and never even had the previous seller sign it at all ... which meant I couldn't register it. So, this began another 3-week process of getting a new title. How does this even happen to a car dealership? While they were very good at apologizing, they are inept at doing what they say they will do. Their excuse? "We're just so busy". So, my advice ... buy your car from someone who isn't too busy to be professional and take care of you. Trust me ... you'll be sorry you did business with this company.Review from Vinny C

I recently had the pleasure of selling my vehicle to Lapin Motors ** and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff at the dealership were incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They made sure to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had. The offer they made for my vehicle was fair and reasonable, and they even helped me with the paperwork to transfer ownership.Lapin Motors ** was clean and well-organized, and I felt confident in the quality of the vehicles they had for sale. I would highly recommend Lapin Motors ** to anyone looking to purchase a used car, and I would definitely consider using them again in the future. Not good. They have a habit of purchasing rental-******s from the salt-filled East Coast at high discount(RUST DAMAGE) and reselling. Most of the time the ****** will have high milage, rust damage, axle damage, and *** slipping. I was a fool to fall for a too-good to be true price on a 2016 Outback. After taking it to a ****** auto mechanic, they found that I need 2 front CV joint replacements, 2 rear wheel bearing replacements, a rear left wheel boot replacement, and that the *** is slipping when shifting between reverse/drive. A literal lemon.I literally am f*cked. I have this fat loan to pay off and a second job to assist in this. NEVER GO TO A USED DEALERSHIP, they are ALL dirty scurvy pirates.Lapin Motor Co Response

****, sorry for your experience. This review came almost 15 months after your purchased the ******* When you purchased in August 2020, the vehicle had 107,*** miles on it. Yes, the vehicle was originally registered and owned on the east coast, information readily available on the Carfax that was provided. You also signed an "as-is" disclosure which suggests to consumers to ask if a vehicle can be inspection on or off the lot prior to purchase. I am sorry the car did not meet your expecations.Review from Robert H

Don't buy a car from these con artists. They'll make promises that you'll know every flaw in the car, no matter how small, ship it to you, and then ghost you the second you tell them something's wrong. They'll tell you how, in ******, they don't have to cover anything on a used car. You'll never get a call back from anyone.Absolute scammers, stay far away.Lapin Motor Co Response

Hello ******, sorry you had a poor experience with our company. We have hired a new team and strive to do better every day. ****** is an as-is, no implied warranty state indeed - always a good idea to get a third party inspection on a used vehicle.
