On 02.16.23, I was hit in the back of my car by a vehicle going ************************************************************** Officer ***** badge ****, 804.769.0999 from KW ************** was at the scene. The other driver was given a citation. At first I thought my car was drivable, but when my son in law looked under the car, my exhaust system was pushed to the front of the car. On ***** ******* with AIC insurance ************ notified me that he was the claims assistant. I sent pictures of the car to him. On ***** I contacted ******* asking the status. I was told that ***********************, ************ was the claims adjuster and he would be handling the case. I was told by ****** that *********************, ************, was the appraiser and would contact me. On ***** I got an email from ***** asking for several pictures of the car which I sent. ***** said he sent the estimate to ******. I contacted ****** on ***** asking the status. ****** said he was waiting for the owner/driver to talk to him. I had an agent talk to the owner who stated he had talked to AIC and he would have his son the driver call them on ***** when he got home from school. This is the 13th day that I have not had a car. Nsthan in an email stated I should use my own insurance. I am not doing that. It was not my fault and I do not need a higher premium becase AIC cannot do ther job. I am sending you all of the correspondence and pictures between AIC and myself. I need help to get this resolved ASAP. I asked for a rental car. ****** as you will see stated he was glad I could drive my car. Now I know why their reviews are horrible, even with their own clients. I cancelled my insurance policy effective 3-18-22. I was then told that since I have federal filings for my box truck I can not cancel the policy until it expires on 4-13-22. This creates a problem because I would be due a refund for unused insurance. Of course AIC doesn't want to due that cause they want to hold my money. I think this is unfair and unethical by this company.Initial Complaint

This company is defrauding people. They know what they are doing and you need to investigate immediately. I suggest anyone considering their auto or motorcycle insurance go to a different company! These people tried to double the amount they were charging me mid first month! They said they screwed up the zip code and mine cost more after I already signed the paperwork and agreed to a month to month contract. THEN they tried charging me $137.20 (or the other half they want). I said no. They said they wouldn't be able to sell it to me at the rate they promised so I canceled. THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO **** ME! I've called them, and they said they would fix it, never did. Called their third party billing office which said they'd get them to get back to me. They never did. Meanwhile I'm getting threatening bills saying they will take me to collections at the end of this month if I don't pay! Its not even been a month yet since I had them! I've never had a company try to move so fast.
