i purchased TV from Brand smart i was also sold on warranty plan . the sale person said to buy this warranty plan in the event anything happens to the TV am covered . On August 15 2022 in Miami there was a bad thunder storm where the power went out for 4 hours . When the power came back on the TV would not turn on . I went in person to brand smart on 08/18/2022 and was told a technician would come out in the event the tv didn't work they would issue a new replacement . i then had to call WArr TEch to file a claim which i did on 8/18/2022 (Claim:7721443) a technician didn't come out until Wednesday 8/24/2022. The technician shows up tried to turn tv on and said its power board they would order parts and come back to fix it .please keep in mind my TV is an 85 inch tv not 30 inches you can take off the wall and replace parts on . i don't understand the tech came out saw tv didnt work why not put order to replace with new tv. today is 08/30/2022 and i have not received follow up call from the tech or the company . i have been 15 days with out tv . what was the purpose of the warranty ?????? i need my tv or a refund for the price of the warranty with interest so i can go purchase a new TV !!!!! i called spoke Warr TEch supervisor Customer service rep who by the way advised the company does not let her provide her last name - Katalina - has advised that i would need to wait until the technician comes back out replaces the parts and see if the TV works . if it doesn't work they need to try to repair the unit as many times as possible before making a decision to replace TV if that decision can ever be made . So this means i could be with out a tv for months and they dont care. Also if
