December 2021 my husband and I agreed to purchase a custom wood dinning room table with a 'glass river' insert. ******* ********************** stated this should be completed and delivered at the end of January 2022. we paid half of the invoice on December 7, 2021. We did not hear from Matt ********************** until I initiated a text message on February 7, 2022. He notified ** that he had meant to call but the delay was due to the glass. Matt ********************** then followed up on March 13th, 2022- still waiting on the glass. I followed up again April 4th, 2022, he called April 21 reports glass should be there in a week. June 12, 2022 the glass was finally in the shop, table should be done in a week. Matt ********************** promised ** a complimentary bench due to the delays. Table was delivered on June 19th. Matt ********************** reported he wanted to go over details on the bench in person before making it. Confirmed upon delivery of the table what we wanted with the bench. Matt ********************** states it should be about a month. I paid the second half of the invoice for the table on June 23, 2022. Followed up august 1st to inquire about the bench, then November 10th, December 7th, February 13th, March 20th with no reply or update on the bench. We hope **** ********************** could follow through on his job as promised or at the very least give ** some sort of refund for the lack of follow through. He quoted ** the bench would cost ******* USD and promised ** this due to the 6+ month waiting on the table. Please let me know if there is any other additional information I can provide. I have tried to contact ******************************* for months with no return in call.Business response

****** Im sorry you were dissatisfied with your table. As I said before I attempt to make you a matching bench to go with your table but you never paid for one and further the material for that very custom ********************* table were not available to make a marching bench. As a stated before I sorry for the delay on the glass I have no control over that due to COVID. Again please forgive me for the inconvenienceCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: You offered the bench up as compensation for the extreme delay for the delivery of the table. You state in the messages 'I have not forget about the bench' stated December 23, 2022. Also, with many follow *** regarding the bench (evidenced in the text messages) there was never one mention of money owed for it. We were dissatisfied with the poor business management and false promise, not the table.
