9/1/2022 was the date I payed for the tires from tire monkey I payed $180.00 for 4 used tires. My car tires are 185/65/R14 tire monkey put 195/70/R14 on my car. The tires have been rubbing on the finder of my car every since. I went back in on 9/8/2022 to tire monkey to discuss the problem and try to get them to put the right size tires on my car and the guy working was going to exchange tires but they didn't have the right size tires so he inquired on putting different sizes and brands on all 4 tires instead, we said no. So then the employee went outside looked at my car and got an attitude and started yelling and screaming at us in the parking lot threatening us, telling us it was our fault this went on for about a half hour he was yelling in our faces then he told us to leave and not come back to their business and he refused to give us our money back or do anything to resolve the issue. He then went as far as taking pictures of our car as we were leaving and his female employee that was working was outside telling us we needed to leave don't come back threatened to call the cops on us if we didn't leave. So we left still have tires that are the wrong size on my car and rubbing on the finder.Business response

customer came looking for smaller tires i did not have a set they told me that we put these tires on they did not have a receipt i looked at the car the front of the car look fine and when i looked at the back of the car the car was setting significantly lower in the back it was very obvious the shock or struts where blow out or modification done to the springs i tried to talk to them about getting the car fixed properly and safely and they wanted to blame the tire size ether way we can not put tires on any car that has blow out shock or struts without replacing them do to safety protocol when the gentleman threaten to hit me my wife told him to leaveInitial Complaint

On 12/24/2021 I went to the tire monkey to get new tires on my car! 480$ for 4 brand new tires! I drove to work and after work I was headed down to see a friend I was meeting in green. When I got to the light to turn to the meeting spot I felt a wobble coming from the front of the car! I immediately pulled off got out of my car and went to the passenger side of my car noticed I had a flat. I called one of my friends he came and put air in my tire so I could drive it ********************************************** Trying to put air in my tire I got assistance from an employee at loves who informed me that there was a bulge coming from the side wall of the tire. I waited 6 hours in the cold for a tow truck to finally come get me and my car. I called tire monkey on 12/25/2021, and told the gentleman what had happened and he instructed for the tire to get brought in. My daughter took the tire in And the put a used tire on the rim and said that they would order another tire because they didnt have the same brand in stock. On 12/30 I called to inquire about the new tire and Im being told that I ran over a pot hole or something to cause the damage. I was on interstate 5 90% of the time no pot hole and my tire went flat in less than 45 miles. I told the gentleman that either I want my new tire that was promised or reimbursed for the price difference of a new tire and I used tire almost said that hes not authorized to do that I asked to speak with the owner and he said he wasnt there I said will you take my number and have him call me. He refused to do that!Business response

when we put the tire on it beaded all the way around and held air when she left, when she brought the wheel back in and we inspected it, it had a dent in the outer edge of the rim which debeaded the tire and allowed air to escape and make the tire go flat, she then drove on a flat tire which voids the warranty for brand new tires. we put a used tire on of the same size, she not return or call to talk to the owner and we have talked to the employee about not taking her # in which he said was never discussed. we advise all our employees to take a name and number in all situationsCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: when I got the used tire the employee told my kids that a new one would be ordered. As soon as i knew the tire was flat I pulled over. I didnt keep driving. I was out in the freezing cold on Christmas eve night for 6 hours. I drove a total on that tire for maybe a half hour! Not hitting anything! When the used tire got flat on my way to coos bay I was blessed to have someone come out and put air in the tire so I could take it to point s in coos bay! Thats when he informed me the the rim was bent and the valve stem needed to be replace! ! Something that tire monkey employee should have noticed! Im not ignorant when it come to tires or mechanics of a car. I know that tire companys are supposed to change the valve stems when putting new tires on. I just want what was promised to me!no I have not called back to talk to the owner because the gentleman that I talked to on the phone refused to take my name and number. And when asking about talking to the owner first he said he wasnt there! And a couple minutes later said he was busy! Thats when I asked him to have him call me. He said that he wouldnt take the number because the owner was too busy! Because of the false promise and the bad customer service that I received 4 people are refusing to go to tire monkey for tires any more! The gentleman also was with attitude when he said that he didnt know what kind of roads I drove on! I drove all i5 except for leaving the tire monkey and I had to drive they town! And he basically called me a liar!
