I purchased a vehicle from them a few months ago before purchasing there was a check engine light on i told the owner he said to take it to his ***** down the road his ***** plugged into the car and said the check engine light was due to a oil service light not being reset. I believed them purchased car right away i noticed clutch and transmission issues the clutch went out and i found that there mechanic removed a ground wire thst was keeping the light from illustration car currently at ***** deal have cluth and other stuff repaired to the sum of **** with onl 56 k miBusiness response

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. When ************************************* came and purchased his 2018 ***** Civic ***************** on 10/17/2023 the car had ****** at the time of purchase. As he mentioned the car had the check engine light on. He asked if we knew what the light was on for. We said no, and that he could take the vehicle to a shop of his choice and get it inspected by a third party mechanic. He then asked if we knew of any shops near by. We mentioned there a shop close by called "********************************" down the street from us where he could take it to. ***************************** drove the car there personally and had the shop diagnose the light before he purchased the vehicle. There is a point we want to clarify, **************** said we took the car to our ******** We work with ***** different automotive shops in the area, and none of them are our friends. They are strictly business relationships.
Back to the sale, after the vehicle was inspected by a third party shop. **************** negotiated our sales price from $39,999 down to $36,000 and we agreed to sell it so that he could use that discount towards future maintenance. Now 5 months later and with 6k miles more on the car. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do at this point. Any questions please feel free to reach back out to us.

Yea he lied about me picking the shop when he told me where to go but thanks for nothing
