On the afternoon July 22, 2022, I was sent to API global to provide a urine sample for a pre employment drug screen. I provided the sample, and was told that I was finished, signed a form, then left the building.The nest day, I was informed by my potential employer that I had failed the drug screen. In their explanation API stated that the sample they were given was invalid. They then stated that I was informed of this, offered a retest, refused to retest, then left the building.In actuality, I was not told there was anything wrong with the sample, was not offered a retest, and I never refused to provide an additional sample. API Globals falsified documentation and reporting of events cost me my job.After being made aware of this, I contacted API Global, and was told they keep no records, and thus cant comment on my test. They also failed to provide the name or employee identification of the technician, the site manager, or any corporate entity of API Global. They also stated there was no challenge or complaint process either internally or externally.Initial Complaint

I went in for a u/a and the guy put his hand all over the cup and marked it with a pen and asked I fill it to the line so I prosceded it clearly went over the line he specified he said ok he prosceded to do the testing the temp and all that I finished urinating and came out asked to wash my hand he said yes and he just dumps the sample out and said it wasn't enough i told him I asked you before I finished and you said it was and that was it he said you got 10 min to provide another sample before they close I said I have ten min to get my daughter from school and he said ok you can come back tomorrow and then he calls my employer and says I refused to give a sample the lady at the desk said he had been having a bad day that's not my problem so he lied and is a no good company
