I took my 3yr old some for what the school called a play date. I had previously set up an appointment but when we arrived nobody greeted us. Children were running around unsupervised and I was unable to get the attention of an adult. We left having never made contact with a teacher

To Whom It May ***************** take our business history very seriously.  We have researched and found this claim to be made falsely.  Nowhere in our records, enrollment, emails or software do we have a client or potential client by the name ****************. This is probably another attack method used by a disgruntled employee that was let go. It is sad that the staff's jobs are being put in jeopardy over one person's quest for retaliation.  Our staff to child ration has one teacher to 6 children. There is no way an adult was not seen. Thank you

Kaleidoscope Community School is giving drinking water to young children that tastes terrible. Although lab results meet licensing requirements children are refusing to drink it because it tastes so bad and are dehydrated on hot days. School staff is not ensuring adequate toilet paper in porta potties and children are not able to reliably clean themselves after using the bathroom. There are no paper towels and inadequate hand soap at the outdoor hand washing station adjacent to porta potties. Porta potties are uncovered / have no shade structure or cover and are unbearably hot. Although children have access to an indoor bathroom that is shared with a church, staff does not communicate this and inhibits access. ****************** is only provided once a week so porta potties are filthy. Children are expected to cool off in the shade and some limited water play. They are not given regular and adequate access to a cooling room with HVAC on warm summer days. The school has access to the churchs multi purpose room for snow and rain days but is not taking children into that temperature controlled room on high heat days. The owners response to my requests for improvements for sanitation, drinking water, and accommodations for my 8 year old who has a diagnosed health condition and attended their preschool program 3 years ago was to abruptly expel my 2 children from the school age and preschool programs with 17 hours notice on a Sunday leaving me with no childcare and no ability to work. I have requested corrected invoices more than once. My 3 year old attended 2 days. My 8 year old attended 1 day. Current invoices total over $1200. Owners email said she is refunding our $200 registration fee but did not confirm the corrected amount due. Text messages and email from the owner, *********************** (******) are very troubling and I need no further contact. Reviews of the school on Us Chamber of Commerce website are alarming.

To Whom It May ***************************** to the formal complaint filed against Kaleidoscope and myself.  I have owned my school for eight years and this is the first formal type of complaint I have dealt with.  There is a background with the disgruntled client. I was her child's teacher for a few years and we always kept in touch because we believe in the same philosophy with children. Recently, we have approached a business partnership on three separate occasions. Due to some red flags, harsh communication skills and guidance by an attorney after reading her letter of intent, I have backed off of any relationship of any kind. Throughout my relationship with her, I have known her to be vengeful and expected some sort of backlash.  I understand her frustration with being immediately expelled.  In eight years, I have only had to immediately expel a student twice in the course of business.  However; the client has been aggressive in her business acumen and communication with my staff. After emailing  this extended list of demands after her child attending only one day, they no longer felt safe or comfortable.  For true transparency, I have attached the client's email of demands and my response as the owner of the school.  Thank you
