      We hired contractor ***** ***** to remodel our bathroom and kitchen in July 2022. ************** completed the bathroom remodel in October. He set dates to start on the kitchen, October 15th, 20th then again on November 11th. He has stopped returning our phone calls, texts and emails. We've paid ************** ****** toward the kitchen remodel. The last time we had any contact with ************** was on November 11th, through a text message when he told us that the cabinet company accidentally painted the cabinets the wrong color. We've found out from prior owner **************, ******* father that ***** never hired ***************** to do our cabinets. That he was going to do them himself. We've not been told anything about this. At this point we're afraid that ************** has taken our money, and doesn't attend to do the remodel.

      The date we paid deposit and hired contractor for the kitchen was July 15, 2022. The contractor was currently working on the master bathroom remodel. The date the remodel was to begin was on October 24th after the completion of the bathroom. He no showed. Several days of trying to get ahold of him. We scheduled another attempt on November 10th. He no showed again. It took several days of attempting to contact him. We emailed him letting him know that we were filing a complaint on December 2nd. He responded asking for another chance and if we could meet. We met on December 8th. He agreed to began the remodel on January 6th. He has no showed, turned his phone off, and has blocked our emails. He has never worked on our kitchen, yet we've paid him a deposit of ******. We would like our refund.

      I paid Advanced Renovations, Inc. $ ******** as a down payment to get started on my kitchen renovation. I paid by debit card on 8-16-22. I tried contacting Drarke ***** by email and phone. I made contact with him and he told me he was sorry for the delay and that he had just returned from a hunting trip and that the cabinets had not even been started. All I want is a refund of my money, I can't do business with a company that won't keep me updated. I'm sure there should be no problem recouping my down payment if this company is incorporated .

      He took our money then refused to start project, wont answer phone calls or emails or text! We are seniors, and he has taken advantage of us and asked for $28,000 down on a $46,750 job, and once he received this he broke off all communication with us.

      I have text messages that cover the months of May 2022 - September 2022. They are several pages long and I want the BBB to see them all. They involved the business having me pay them $20,000.00 and only doing $7,650.00. Of the projects. Ive been ghosted for the last three months despite the repeated communication from me. I want my $12,350.00 returned to me for lack of services on my remaining projects. If the BBB would send me paper forms, I would be glad to fill them out and send them back to you. I spoke with a representative from BBB who said she would send me the written forms, but I have not received them. That was a month ago. Please I would really like to get my money back so I can hire someone that can do my projects. We are quite disappointed in how ***** ***** from Advanced Renovations Inc. has professionally handled everything. We thought he was a good guy and now we have been burned by several thousands of dollars and projects never started or completed. I have documented information to include texts and receipts. I just need someone to help me with this, so I dont have to hire a lawyer and spend money on something that isnt my fault. Please get back to me ASAP on what you can do. I really appreciate your efforts in helping me resolve this and getting my money back.
