      Took a trip away from home to get a decent deal on a vehicle in *********. We didn't get out of the dealership til after 11 and locking my only set of keys in the car for 2 hours decided to get a cheap hotel. Cheap it WAS NOT! The lady at the office overcharged me for the room which was absolutely filthy public hairs in tub, sink filthy. Gum hanging off the headboard sheets not changed no toilet paper after driving fo hours. The room had no key card . I had ro be let in by staff. After inspecting the room I went to request a new room or a refund and no one was in the office for 3 hours. No one answered the phones either. I caught the front desk lady at 7 am and she said she couldnt do anything i would have to waiit for the manager , which is actually the sleezy owner that wouldnt come look at the room and tried to give me only 20 dollars back as a refund with a promise to help me out next time im in town . I told him then i wanted a room voucher . I figured i could sell it , he refused and got angry with me , pretended he was praying and insisted I check out immediately. They charged me 97 for a room that was 77band 76 dollars for deposit which they never refunded. I called for a few days until he told me to take him to court if I wanted my money. I want a full refund . Plus my deposit . Looked like he rents that damaged. Filthy room to get people's deposit money but I took pics of everything as soon as I saw the utter madness of the room I paid for . I couldn't sleep on the top of the bed it was dirty dirty . You would think someone that owns a hotel would Care to invest in it time effort and money But I digress

      Hello,

      we have someone at the desk 24 hours a day. If there was any issue, you shouldve been there to ask for a refund we wouldnt mind Ive checked with the manager. He was working that shift. He was there all night and he wouldnt mind to give a refund at all. Im very sorry for the inconvenience. This has caused you. But we cant give refunds as we stated in the morning when you came after your stay.

      I am rejecting this response because: there was no one in the office literally for hours I also called your number that you have written on your window instead of a night bell. You never refunded me my deposit wither. I am requesting a refund on both .

      I called the holiday lodge early morning on May 22nd and let them know I had booked a room using booking.com and let them know what time I would arrive and wanted to make sure they would check us in they told me they would be in the office and and confirmed I could check at the time I was set to arrive in Salem now the problem is nowhere on their website did it talk about a deposit as well as nowhere on booking did it disclose a deposit would be due upon arrival and they didn't even let us know by phone when we called either that a deposit would be required I arrived at the holiday lodge at around 1 am on the 22nd and the informed me then that it was a 100$ deposit and I would not have a TV.... obviously I was skeptical at that point and I asked if u charge me a 100$ deposit when will it be returned they stated that it was guaranteed to be refunded back to my card by the next day so the 23rd it is now the 30th and I have faithfuly called them every day since and I have been told every time I call that it will be the next day then the next day they have pushed it off every time I called when the deposit was never disclosed to begin with I would like to get my deposit back and find a solution to this because to me it all seems very unprofessional at this point I turned to the bbb because they won't even answer the phone anymore to discuss this issue update while uploading pictures as proof I do see on booking that a 50$ deposit would be required upon arrival witch could only be accepted as cashstill yet upon arrival I was told 100$ deposit was required and they changed that to my card....as for the condition of the room we went straight to sleep and left the next morning we gave the room a detailed inspection ourselves and most definitely left it in top notch conditionnthis still seem unprofessional and shady to me id just like my money back I'm well aware some motels require deposits and I've paid them before but I got them back too and didn't have mixed information

      Attendant took my i.d for a deposit and lost it its Saturday sept.24th im supose to wait around till monday before she can call who ever.? I dont have money for a room for 2 or 3 days. Im traveling to ********** very limited budget. $40 to replace it. Very irresponsible.

      Stayed at the place 8/26-8/28/22 and paid $258.74 for 2 nights stay and also a $50 refundable deposit paid before seeing the room 243. Located 2 businesses down from a strip club and the room downstairs from me, had the window boarded up, like a homeless person had been staying there. Room had no towels, no trash can, bathroom vent didnt work, no batteries in tv remote, only 1 channel on tv, no top dresser drawer, carpet and bathroom dirty, pillows bunched up and not white, top cover sheet on bed had cigarette burn holes in it, room smelled like cigarette smoke and front door once closed on the inside has a 2X6 inch hole, so you can see the sunshine shining through the door from the outside. Im looking for a partial credit because I was over charged for the room for 2 nights. Also, hoping that something gets said to the owner, someones going to get sick from staying there or hurt. Hoping they stop ripping off innocent people- pictures on internet are ***** years out of date. I asked to speak with the manager or owner when I checked out Sunday morning, the desk person behind ***** said the manager would be in after 3. I asked if he could give me a credit because I was over charged. He said he is unable to do that. I gave him a note with my name, room 243 stayed in, dates, how much I paid and what was wrong with the room and asked him to give it to manager or owner and have them call me. Never received a call, so called Sunday night and they gave me the owners email address of ******************** Emailed him that night with pictures and 2 other times with no response. Also called the place 3 times and no one answered- not able to leave a message.

      On January 25th 2022 I booked through booking.com a room for 5 nights at the Holiday Lodge motel in ***** ****** for myself and my 2 kids. Upon arrival they gave me room 107 however the room had no power/electricity I immediately told the front desk and they quickly changed us to room 206. As my kids and I settled in, my youngest daughter tripped and fell onto the floor. As she stood up i saw blood on her leg. I searched the area of the floor where she had fallen and I found three pieces of broken glass on the floor. I immediately called the front desk. The front desk called management and after about 10 minutes came back to me and asked what I would like to do at this time. I asked her how long a refund would take to post to my account as I had no money for another place or room. She said it would be 3 to 5 business days however if i chose to stay they would discount my stay to half price and would find me another room. I reluctantly chose to stay as i had no other options. My kids and I sat in my car for 30 minutes while she looked for a room that would be good enough and made sure it was vacuumed. She finally came to me and told me they found a room that would work for the night however the keypad didn't work so every time we left the room they would have to open it this was room 116. The following day they would have room 220 clean and we could stay there. I again reluctantly chose to stay in room 116 with the promise of a discount and a better room the next day 220. The next day comes we did not get moved into 220 until 3:00pm We also did not have a fridge or microwave and as we were staying 5 nights with young kids I definitely needed that. It took them until 7:00 at night to bring a microwave and refrigerator and then the toilet started to leak at the base and flooded the bathroom. We AGAIN had to change rooms to 208 and have the microwave and fridge moved as well. I left my name and number for a manager to contact me and have yet to hear from anyone.

      Rented a room for the night on November 14th 2021. Went to take a shower and there was still hair on the walls I have blonde hair not black, The floors were disgusting, Not vacuumed. Was way to tired to go and complain to the front desk so I waited till I woke up and the manager was available to get a refund! I work in motel down in Texas, One you have to give them a refund if the room is not cleaned properly luckily I brought my own blanket, ****** didn't work, couldnt Change the temp on the shower, It was bad bad... The manager does NOT know how to do his job!!!! This is seriously uncalled for and I want what I paid for the room not just my deposit back but what I paid for the room!!!
