I purchased gap insurance from this *** dealership and as soon as my vehicle was sold off, I sent in paperwork to cancel that gap insurance. It's been nearly 3 months and I still haven't been refunded.Business response

The refund was processed in a timely manner- unfortunately with the holiday season it took a bit long than normal. *** FS requested a cancellation prior to the client requesting it and asked that it be sent to them so they could send it on to the client. We don't know why this was the case but we sent them the refund once we received it from the insurer- we received the refund about the 15th of January and forwarded it to *** Financial Services and they posted it to the account and we requested that they forward the refund to the client today once we became aware of the situation. Per *** FS the payment should go out in 5-7 business days in the US Mail.
We apologize for the delay but we did do our end of the transaction and it should be resolved in a matter of a week or so- as soon as *** FS can issue a check and that is who will be amiling the customer the money.

I have a refund for a extended warranty cancellation due to me. I was informed from warranty company they only deal with contract and on Feb 18th, 2022 they sent over an invoice breakdown on what BMW of Salem owed **** have called car dealership many times and they claim they do not deal with the warrantys, untrue. They are the ones that deal with the funds when purchased and in refunds. I am owed **** and have been waiting for over 2 months for them to send me the refund.Business response

The client should receive a check in the next few days- I am not sure where our communication faltered as this is not the norm for our business nor do I know why the client would have been given such incorrect information.
I am sorry for the communication breakdown, the refund has been processed and the client has been refunded.
