      The job was to remove the **** from the roof of my home, garage and shed. Paid in full $700. The ******* came on April 14th and sprayed the **** on the main roof, started to clean the gutters but said he could not complete the gutter cleaning until the **** was removed. Before the ******* left, I was told by ******* on a phone call from the office that the **** was heavy and he would return in 4-6 weeks to see if the spraying had killed the ****. If not, I was promised a full refund. I did not hear back from them. Contacted ******* by text on June 15th, but was told by him that he would contact me early next week, that they were slammed with business. Have not heard from him and my phone call messages to the company have gone unanswered. The **** is still on the roof and the gutters are not cleaned.

      This Complaint is not completely true in regards to how my company handled the matter. See after a few attempts of scheduling our return to remove the **** and clean the gutters this customer allowed us to come back and begin the work. After my crew of two men were there for approximately ***** minutes ***** came out and said, I just dont think I can trust you guys to do a good job, go ahead and leave. See a full refund is only owed if we do not do our due diligence as a company and return to address the rest of the cleaning. I will not refund a customer who schedules a return visit from my employees, costs me gas and labor costs, then rudely sends home **************** off of a frustration issue with our timing. Yes, it did take us a little bit longer to get out to this property and fix the work but no where in our contractual agreement does it say anything about the time frame we return. We are a reputable and trustworthy company and do not deserved to be described as not.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The information in my original complaint is accurate based on text messages from the company and from notes I took during the phone calls we had on April 14, 2023, the day the ******* came out to remove the **** and clean the gutters. I was told that he would return in 4-6 weeks to assess the **** situation and clean the gutters. As I wrote in my complaint, ******* promised that if the spraying had not killed the **** in 4-6 weeks, he would refund my money.

       When I had not heard from them by June 1st, I attempted to contact their office but got no response. I waited 2 more weeks and then sent a text message to ******* to remind him that we needed to schedule a time to return and finish the job. He responded by saying that they were super busy and he would get back to me early next week.

      After waiting for his call, I called the office again on July 7, 2023 and left a voicemail asking them to please call back so we could get this work scheduled. There was no response. I found this lack of communication alarming.

      On August 3, 2023, after still not receiving any form of  communication from the company, I filed my complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

      On Saturday, August 12, 2023, around 2:45 in the afternoon, I went outside to move the sprinkler and a man got out of a truck parked across the street and came toward me saying that he was here to finish the roof job. There had been no communication about this, and the man had not even knocked on the door. I felt this was very poor business practice, coming out unannounced late on a Saturday. It was a very hot afternoon (90 degrees) and I told him that if they had called me ahead of time, we could have worked out a more reasonable time to finish the work. I also told him that the fact that the **** still looked the same as the day they sprayed it, the complete lack of communication from them, and the fact that they showed up completely unannounced, did not inspire my trust. And due to the heat, I could not agree to let anyone on the roof at that time.

      Our conversation was civil. He apologized and asked how could they make this right? And I told him that at this point a full refund was what I thought was appropriate. He told me to text ******* and that he would start the ball rolling.

      The response I received from ******* was that he would not issue a refund because they had come out today and attempted to finish the job but I turned them away and on top of that you wrote us a very negative review for the Better Business Bureau and it just doesnt seem like a refund is ethical at this point but please take care.

      I hired this company in good faith, but was not treated by them in good faith.

      I have not been able to to reach anyone to finish our roof cleaning job that was started May 4th. They said it would be 3-4 weeks and it's been 7 weeks. No return on voice-mail or texts. I have already paid in full.
