(Paid business on 4/27/2023 Invoice #****) I wish to receive $1409.00 refund from Cherry City Transmission for the transfer case. I took my **** ***** pickup in for service work for a leaking transfer case and within 24/hrs. of driving it was still leaking. Brought it back for the 2nd time and was told it should be under warranty per the office employee (women). Went to pick it back up and they said it was another $600 and **** said he would like to split the difference and charge us half so we agreed and paid $298.90. We called before we took it to them and the mechanic answered the phone and he agreed he should have replaced the bushing. A week later it is still leaking same part for the 3rd time and we are not paying this shop anymore nor want them touching our vehicle again. We called to complain on May 31st/2023 and want our money back and they told ** we need to bring it back in didn't say anything about if it would be covered under warranty. They don't guarantee any of their work for service obviously. They also didn't hook up the 4-wheel drive linkage which a transmission shop should know that is something that should be done. As you can see from my mileage on the invoice it only had 46 miles for the week I drove it. Horrible service and they should not be rated A+ business. They have had 10 complains on the ************************** mine included. This business needs to be not rated an A+ and be evaluated or something. Something needs to be done as they are not taking care of their customers and just taking peoples money. We work hard and don't have a lot of money to dump over $1500 and still not fixed. To Whom it may concern,
On April 18th, 2023, **************** came into our shop to check in his **** ***** pickup K2500 7.4L with the mileage of ****** for:
1) "LEAKING AT REAR + *****?IN FRONT" is what was written on the check in sheet.
2) "WHISTLE HOWL BETWEEN ***** OUTER RIGHT FRONT OF PASSENGER SIDE"
A day later we called **************** to have him come down and discuss both of those issues. During our conversations about the mileage, age of the vehicle and it was leaking fluid all over underneath the vehicle, we recommended a transmission overhaul, transfer case and u-joints.
After a discussion, **************** wanted the leaks fixed and only a service on the transmission, which includes a filter,pan gasket, and 6qts of transmission fluids, along with u-joints.
On April 27th, 2023, **************** came in, paid the amount of $1550 that was discussed when the repairs were authorized on April 19th, 2023, signed the final repair order and picked up the vehicle...at that time there were no issues after we test drove and rechecked the vehicle.
On May 3rd, 2023, **************** brought back his vehicle with a concern of "STILL LEAKING AT REAR OF ****** ON TO CROSSMEMBER"with the vehicle's mileage of 177148.
After the inspection we pinpointed and determined that fluid was leaking between the rear of the transmission and transfer case.
About a couple of days later we received a phone call from **************** to check on the status of the vehicle. We hadn't gotten to it yet because we did not have an open bay available.
We advised **************** that because of the leaking transmission fluid at the rear tail shaft of the transmission, the bushing in the rear shaft of the transmission will need to be replaced.
Again, the repairs were authorized by *************** in a discounted amount of $315.00, as well as an additional first-time customer credit of $25.
On May 31st, 2023, **************** called regarding his vehicle still leaking and demanded a full refund. We have a no refund policy due to the nature of the business, which is stated on the signed invoices.
We also told **************** that we can't warranty something if it isn't here to verify the complaint, nor did we refuse to look at the vehicle.
**************** was always pleasant to work with and never gave us any impressions that our service was not satisfactory.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was told it would be fixed under warranty and they are also lying that they didn't recommend replacing our transmission. I was also told the bushing was part of the transfer case not part of the transmission. Why did they overall the transfer case when the leak was part of the transmission. They never said anything to me about this. I guess we have no leg to stand on since they don't offer any warranty on their work. Why would we want to bring back the vehicle the 3rd time when they keep charging and in my opinion they didn't exactly know what was causing the leak. This business has had 9 other complaints. I will never use them again and she wasn't in the office nor did I speak to this lady to complain about the service. It was **** and one of the mechanics I talked to. They will be getting a horrible review online like several other customers that have gotten screwed. Excuse my language.
