I booked an ocean front room from Aug 28- Sept 01, 2023 for a total of 4 nights in ******* ******. The room was in very poor/dirty condition, and after several trips to the front office requesting cleaning services, the manager had it and she offered to do a full refund. I was willign to stay if the room was cleaned but she had already made an opinion about me and told me she will gladly do a refund if I leave. Being that it was late into the night, and I was traveling with kids I had to stay one night. The manager agreed. The first night was already paid the day I booked the hotel on 08/05- $453.26. The manager offered a full refund for the rest of the days for a total of $1,359.78. However, my credit card was charged that amount and a refund was never done. I ended up leaving Seaside and going to ******** and pay for a stay at a different hotel. The owner of Seaside Oceanfront told me he didn't authorize to do a full refund and even acknowledged that the manager did offer me a refund, but he told me the manager didn't check with him first.
