    I purchased a coupon for $62.09 for a carpet cleaning by Sweets Chem-Dry in ******, ******. I also wanted them to clean my sofa. With the initial $62.09 plus the final payment of $168 the job totaled $230.09. Sweets sent a technician on 10/18/23 to do the job. He arrived an hour late, at around 9am, due to confusion about the address. I expressed concerns about how much moisture would remain in the rug and sofa and was told that it would be dry in a couple of hours or definitely by the afternoon.This technician did not move several items of furniture so the back of the sofa was not cleaned and some areas of the rug were not cleaned. The technician did not do adequate extraction of the cleaning solution. After he left I realized the deck of my sofa was saturated. Touching it left my hand glistening with moisture. I contacted the business after the cleaning and expressed my concerns about the excessive moisture and the uncleaned areas. I was advised to use towels to soak up the moisture on the deck of my sofa and they offered to send someone in November to do a redo. I do not want them back.Sweets Chem-Dry ****** has a video on their website showing how they clean and what equipment they use. This website video is completely false. Their equipment looked nothing like what was used in the video. Lastly, the technician asked about deodorizer. I said my main interest was in eliminating allergens since I have asthma. He told me they had something scented with lemon scent. I told him no scents. He then told me that their deodorizer would also eliminate allergens and it was odorless. Im not sure if he used this or not but he did spray something in several areas that smelled strongly of lemon. Not sure what I got and I did not receive a copy of the receipt I signed. As of today, 10/19/23, there are still damp areas on my rug, sofa deck, and cushions and I am concerned about whether this may cause issues such as mildew.

    Returning customer offered 30% off Total quote $130 - $140 6/8/2022 Appt Day When ready to pay, was surprised the invoice was more than quoted at $209.00. The technician response was that the office is not supposed to give price quotes over phone. Since the technician herself was kind we continued with service 6/9/2022 That next day I called Sweet Chems Dry and reported the carpet didnt smell clean at all. The employee that answered the phone, did not know anything about PERT and stated they were only there to help answer phones. The person did apologize for not knowing how to answer the questions and a manager would call me back to help answer the questions. She did schedule another appt to re-clean and re-treat the carpet on 6/15/2022. nNo phone call from any manager or owner 6/15/2022 ***** the technical called at 1:51PM, only 9 min before my appointment, and apologized for the situation. I asked why a manager/owner never called me and she said the owner told her to handle it as it was her issue to fix. ***** has been a great employee to work with as a customer and it was shocking to hear she doesnt have a team to back her up. She found the cause of the first poor cleaning was due to a hose leaking all over including inside her truck. The owner had since told her the truck equipment was fixed. We scheduled a new service date on 6/20/2022 and hopefully everything will be fixed.6/18/2022 - Violet called to confirm the appointment and asked what the issues have been. I tried explaining everything, including my feelings of being ignored by Management. She became defensive, kept screaming at me. It was very childish and immature to treat a loyal customer of over 3 years in this way. She didnt want to believe anything I had to say, she kept raising her voice screaming match. Hung up the phone in tears unable to take any more Mental Abuse. Am beyond shocked at the poor **************** from Sweet Chem Dry. OWNER NEVER CALLED DONT RECCOMEND SCAMMERS
