I would never recommend this business to buy furniture. They do not care about the customer once they have your money. After my husband dies I decided to move to a smaller residence. I went there and purchased several pieces of furniture. It took quite a bit of time for the items to come. When my sofa was delivered, I called and said this was not the fabric I ordered. The managers response that they were out of the fabric I wanted so HE chose a different one. I told him he should have called me so I could pick it out. He just said they could not take it back. I wrote a letter to the owner, ***************** and he refused to even respond. Stay away from this store and shop elsewhere.Review from GORDON G

Purchased a ******* "floor model" Eckornes chair. Delivery was fine but I decided that the chair was not a good fit for our home.The no refund policy is bad enough but the substitute item must be purchased within 14 days of the return even though the store already had our *******. There is a separate document that the customer is required to sign stating that they agree to the 14 day new purchase. It is not stated on the sale invoice or receipt.Very poor business practice. My delivery wasn't met, with no notification whatsoever so I had to call the store to get an update on my paid-in-full couch. If I had received a call about it earlier in the week, a different delivery date would have been totally cool and no worries at all. No call, no notice at all-- was waiting for the call all day. I really thought I got like, robbed from this store.Finally got through to someone and they said they had no drivers. Okay, fine but they should have notified me earlier this week or this morning so we could have rescheduled.Inside the store, the employees were micro-aggressively racist and treating me like I was completely incompetent, going onto gaslight me about how they don't "remember talking to me" on the phone.Then one said I was rude and cussed at her during a phone call-- which is completely false and lied to me about that interaction. If they don't remember talking to me on the phone, how could I cuss them out... on the phone??One employee claimed they couldn't be racist and denied any racism going on because they "have a Black boyfriend". I don't know how her boyfriend is relevant.One employee slammed her fist on the table and said, "I'm going to be real with you, S#!t happens, okay??" I never cussed throughout this entire encounter.The owner tried to make up for it but in the end, the furniture wasn't worth the money I saved up. Just wanted a couch.Review from Kristen T

Unfortunately our experience at the Bend location began in a positive manner but ended up being a very frustrating experience. We purchased a 3 piece furniture set and had it delivered to us and all was a pleasant experience. 5 days after the furniture was in my house I noticed one of the recliners wasn't working properly anymore. Upon inspection my husband found that the motor had caught our carpet tearing a large hole in the carpet and burning out the motor in the loveseat. When I called our saleswoman the next day she was confident that both the loveseat and the carpet would be addressed and taken care of. What we have learned after 3 weeks of back and forth, is this company, particularly the management team, takes no responsibility for their products and chooses not to advocate for their customers when the manufacturer refuses to take responsibility for the problem. In the end we were blamed for installing the furniture on our carpet even though we were never warned that carpet height would effect the furniture. We were held responsible for paying to replace the motors and nothing is being done to fix our carpet. Our saleswoman was kind enough to pay for the motors, because her employer chose not to take responsibility for this issue after the manufacturer refused to pay to fix the couch for us.The customer service at this location proved to be severely lacking and the manager, Cliff, was unkind, rude, unapologetic and never acknowledged any responsibility for the product he sells to his customers. Our entire phone call was him saying we were responsible for the broken couches, again, just because we put it on our carpet and plugged it in and used it for 5 days. To end our call he lied stating their was no other manager to talk to but after calling the 800 # I was informed there was indeed a general manager, ***, who never bothered to call me back. We purchased a power lift -recline chair ; ultra comfort ;stroller Eclipse. Paid $999.00 for it. We needed it really soon. My husband said he bought it new, but they gave him the floor model instead of a new purchase at full price and my husband had to bring it home for some reason they wouldnt or couldnt deliver. Not more then 3 months owning the chair the controller broke. The fox it guy came out, order all different parts for the chair but in return he only replaced the controller, said nothing else needed done.. so why did he order all these extra parts?? Next, the track on the glide literally broke off and the gears on the inside, side of the chair was found yo have already been bent in. So eventually this was going to happen. 6 months we had the chair. It took them 1 month to come out to get the chair after several calls for it to be fixed. Finally, they pick it up. The drivers didnt bother dropping down the lift in the back of the truck and dropped the chair in the side corner of the lift which in return tore the material. They handled the chair as if they were working for the dump, throwing it away! I was very, very displeased. The warranty was for the mechanic's not material. So I mentioned it to the driver, that it will need to be repaired by them to, it was they who messed that part AND more like the rest of the chair up that wasnt already they jammed it through my front door to take it and I hear the wood in the chair cracking!!!! Very poor experience. I call today to find out about my chair they have had for OVER 2.5 MONTHS!! I get oh, we just got the parts in this weekend, you should get a call in the week for delivery!!! I havent seen my chair, nor know anything about it, but I tell you dont buy from these companies! I cant trust them! Im not important to them, they dont care I need the chair because of recent back surgery. They are not a company I recommend! Several years ago my wife and I purchased a recliner through these folks. We also purchased an extended warranty which was sold to us as the "Gold Plan". Gold has turned out to be yellow as in lemon. We encountered some problems with the recliner and I did everything asked of me by the sales lady (she tried her best to help) and have so far, after 5 or 6 months not been able to get help in repairing the unit. I later sent a personal email to the owner of the company, *************************, about 5 or 6 weeks ago. To date I have not heard back from either ******************** or anyone from his company. Apparently he does not consider customer service a high priority but rather once the company gets your money you're on your own. In looking at other reviews on this page, overall customer ratings for M. ********************** are a 1 star, as low as you can get. I would highly recommend that if you are looking to purchase furniture that you might want to look elsewhere if good after purchase service is important to you.
