    We had a water pipe break beneath our home. Called ServPro and they said that we needed to **ntact our home owner's insurance *** We **ntacted our insurance *** and they emailed ServPro to go check out the claim. Servpro does not do any plumbing, so their job was to just replace the wet insulation. Servpro came out and began to do the clean up. We asked how much of the deductible we would have to pay. ServPro told us that we need to pay $****. of the ******* that they were going to charge the insurance *** for the work. ServPro said that the amount quoted was the standard in the industry for this type of work. The insurance *** called us back and said that the repaired was not **vered. We called ServPro and told them that the insurance *** would not **ver the repair and their response was that the email that was sent to them by the insurance *** was the legal go ahead to do the job. They also said that they will **llect from the insurance ** because of that email. We sent ServPro the deductible and follow up letter that the insurance ** sent us. We told them that we would pay the remainder of the $****. if they **uld not get the insurance *** to pay. Servpro finished the repair and is now charging us $9780.89 minus the ****. we gave them as the deductible. We called them and reminded them that they said the repair would **st ****. We will pay the ****. but not $9780.89. There was no written **ntract with an estimate just our phone **nversations about the **st to the insurance *** and our deductible. ServPro is threating to put a lien on our home. We have **ntacted a **nsumer fraud attorney but would like to resolve this by paying the ******* still owed.

    This company should change the motto to, ************** will pay for it" since said it so much and it showed. There's enough things I could write for days, literally, so going to try to hit top points here. They left over 80gal of water to sit in HVAC ducts for over a week, left soaking wet insulation piled in crawlspace under house which smelt great, treated our personal belongings like garbage, even threw some in the garbage for no reason at all. Damaged basically everything they packed also packing it with the wet items not caring, left 6 bags of insulation in bags in my yard(which was all they did after saying it was all removed) cut threw wires,pipes,HVAC, making it unusable and fully needing replaced. Took most of our kitchen cabinets including hardware, counters, tile, and backsplash when most,if not all, werent damaged. Broke a bunch of the ones they left in tact and all took off property without saying anything first and while we were gone and had no clue. Worked 3 days and even damaged the stuff hanging on walls. Found to be missing an unreplaceable item of value and all our important paperwork/info and when mentioned to owner he became very aggressive about it and decided to be spiteful and change his mind on taking the items he came to pick up to get repaired. Changed it so I had to take get it fixed and he'd pay me for it. Replaced 1 minor thing they broke and thats all. ****** told me the items were there and personally packed by him and owner said its not in any photos he has and wasnt there to begin with so I was lying. When I mentioned what I was told he got way defensive and aggressive. All my antiques damaged from them, let our house sit so wet for over a week it all turned to mold, tore up our driveway into a muddy mess, complaint form did nothing either but easily caused atleast 40k in damages alone and caught them in atleast 5 lies for sure. Thats just a start to the nightmare they caused us and don't care a bit. I wont just forget and allow it
