From the 1st call to the completed project, the team from Better Built ******, ********* was a great choice! The arrived on time, knocked out the build, and were friendly and efficient. They took the time to go over the process and what painting/**** sealing steps I needed to accomplish once the shed was built. Family and friends assisted with sealing and painting and the results are amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Better Built Barns out of *****, ** (they also service Colorado where my shed was built).(Slant roof, 10' x 14' - 7' high in back, and ****' high front with double doors, single window, and two soffit vents)Review from CH R

Complete nightmare dealing with this company. **************** was non-existent. We did not get the model we ordered. They used unsealled siding as permanent foundation shims. The roof leaked. Craftsmanship was so shoddy we had to hire a third party contractor to rebuild the shed so it was weatherproof.Review from Jim C

We ordered a shed in late September, 2021. We paid 50% down and were told that we would get an installation date in 2-3 weeks. At 4 weeks with no call (late October, 2021), we inquired about the installation date, and were told that the scheduler was out of the office and would get back to us as soon as he was in the office. We received a call the next day with an installation date in early December, 2021.On Nov 18 or 19, we called to discuss moving the installation date out because of the heavy rains experienced throughout the region, preventing us from preparing the site. We were told that the scheduler was out of the office and would get back to us as soon as he was in the office.Early one morning the week of Thanksgiving, we received a call from the installation team, telling us they were 40 minutes out, When told the site wasn't ready, they turned back. Later that morning, Better Built office staff called to ask what happened. We told them that we weren't expecting them until early December, that the site wasn't ready due to ongoing heavy rains, and that we were still waiting to hear back from the scheduler about the possibility of rescheduling. We were told that the scheduler would call us as soon as he was in the office.We managed to ready the site prior to our scheduled delivery date, but when that date came, there was no installation crew. We contacted Better Built to inquire and were told that:- Our installation date was never the early December date.- We were notified of the installation date by text message (To a landline which is not text message enabled, as made clear to Better Built when the order was placed).- That a return trip charge would be added to our **** on completion because we refused delivery in November.- That the scheduler (also the business owner) had not been seen in the office since prior to our Nov 18/19 phone call.- That the phone number of the scheduler/owner was not available to customers or even to Better Built staff to discuss any scheduling issues.- That nobody in the Better Built office had been delegated authority to make any business decisions, other than sales, in the absence of the owner.We cancelled our order and received a full refund.
