Went in to ********************************************************************************************************************** the system. The Next week only one week (within my free trial period i had told them I wanted to cancel and they told me I could not unless I moved out of the area and would still have to pay half the remaining balance of a yr membership even in the contract it mentions buyout fee but was not honored (i never received a free month and can provide bank statements) I have since called many times and they only tell me I signed a contract. And will have to email the owners but the email is not on the website I have now paid them $418.30 I have never used their gym and they will still not let me cancel. The people i talk too will only tell me i signed a contract and talk over me as im trying to talk. The most recent call the manager even told me You didnt own me you cant tell me what to do! because I told him to let me speak and stop talking over me as i was asking them to send an email stating that they had spoken to me. He hung up on me after I told him I would come into the business if i did not receive the email and he told me i was Threatening him and he told me that they would call the cops and I would get arrested. This is dramatic and uncalled for. I had to call more then once to have the email sent. And told them I was making a report with the Better Business Bureau and The manager said goodBusiness response

The member has a contract with us that she posted, in her complaint. It Explains her obligation to the agreement.
Yes when the member called and made threats, that if she was to come here in person and we would regret it. I explained if she came here and became hostile, I would call the police and have her removed from the property. The safety of my staff is one of the most important obligations I have.
She also states that she did not get her free month. I've include a copy of her payment history and it shows the first 2 payments as $0.00, and that she did in fact receive her free month.
We are sorry, this member does not want to honor her agreement, But to make demands that we let her out of it, or else?
We have over 700 members who have the same agreement and we do not feel,
it is fair to them, that they. have fulfill their agreement and we should , let her out of hers, just, because. I'm sorry but that is not how contracts work.
If the member wants to get caught up on past dues and fees, we will still honor our part of the agreement and she will continue to have access to all our facilities.

I am rejecting this response because: The person responding to the letter implied that I was threatening to harm people and I told them if I did not receive the email I would come in or in person to get it and he told me if I came and I would get arrested I did not threaten anybody. I have attached my bank statement showing charges in July and August and one for an even larger amount following. The people handling my account in the office specifically are not professional who yelled at me over the phone hung up on me so I had to call back and thats why I told him that I would come into the office. The business owner themselves is not even handling this claim if they are they were not there to witness the phone call or the interaction.
