  SUMMARY *************** refuses to fix ** inside gym. During hot weather, the gym interior reaches temps of 85+. We are told "** works but the heat traps inside because of the building insulation." When taking photos of the thermostat I was told off by staff for violating gym rules regarding photography.]The Anytime Fitness gym location located in Wilsonville, ****** refuses to acknowledge that the air conditioning does not work in its gym. During hot days the thermostat shows interior temps of up to 85+ degrees. During the first heat wave last month in *** 2023, when outside temps reached 95 degrees, the gym heated up past 85 degrees. As you can see in the attached photos, there are 4 thermostats throughout the gym that show the internal temperature being between 78 and 79 degrees. These are photos were taken on *********** of outside temps around ***** degrees. When notifying the gym manager I was told, "The ** is actually on. It's just because it's so hot outside that ** can't handle the heat. See, the thermostat is actually set to 50 degrees so the ** is on. But because of how many windows there are, sunlight, and building insulation the heat gets trapped inside."On this particular day the weather outside was 72 degrees and overcast; COOLER outside than inside the building. When I showed the manager my weather app he shrugged and again told me,"Yeah well the sunlight and insulation traps the heat inside.." It has been several weeks since the first heat wave in *** and the weather is only getting hotter. ************** refuses to address these issues by lying to its members. We are told that the excess windows and building insulation causes of the *************. Membership fees for this gym are quite expensive and no compensation or resolution has been offered despite numerous complaints, but it's impossible to come to a resolution when management refuses to acknowledge the existence of a problem in the first place.

  The AC has been fixed and is working as of yesterday.  I have updated ******************* via voicemails to keep him up to date.  Everything is working fine now so we consider this issue of the broken AC as resolved.
