We purchased a 2010 Kia ***** for $3500 on 11/12/2024, the vehicle was test driven with the check engine light off and no noticeable issues. During checkout the sales person was asked if the car had any issues and if the title was clean, they assured us it had a clean title and no major issues. At checkout the documentation was not explained nor translated in Spanish despite the owner being fully aware we are only spanish speakers, they had us sign accepting as-is when we were never informed the car was as-is during the test drive or transaction. On the way home from the dealership the car broke down on the highway and the motor began to make a very loud noise so we called the owner to attempt to resolve but the owner immediately declined to assist with a resolution and became hostile, because we signed the doc stating as-is and we test drove it, the owner disconnected from the call Everytime we called to try to resolve so we e went in person at 6:30pm before they closed at 7pm to attempt to resolve in person but as we arrived the vehicle broke down right in front of their lot and we noticed the owner lock their lot and leave in their truck quickly closing the lot on purpose. We had to tow the vehicle back to our home because the car is not drivable. We took the vehicle to the *** on 02/16/2024 and it failed now we are unable to register the vehicle under our name. In the *************** the dealership cannot legally sell a vehicle that cannot pass the ***. The owner is refusing to assist and has tried to trespass us from their lot making false claims to the police that we are threatening their life. The owner also failed to disclose in their documentation or in person there were issues with the Driver Side window that will not roll up.
