    My son came to the park as part of his school field trip on 6/12/23. On his way in to the park, he state that the security confiscated everybody speaker with varying size from a palm size to book size speaker. He state that the security did not give a proper explanation to why other that you cant bring it in and it has to be confiscated. What made it worse, the items that was confiscated was not return at the end of their trip. I check the park's list that is not allowed to bring in and other that the obvious item like knife, liquor and other stuff, no mention of speaker. I tried to fill a complain but the only number they have is customer service which is no help and was only refer to emailing the company which hopefully gets to the proper depart and not ignored. I don't think this is right and I see it as plain stealing. Wish me luck and I wish Dorney Park will make it right, Not just for me but for everybody else.

    We took our children there to celebrate the end of school. We even bought season passes so that we could make a few evening visits over the summer. We drove an hour and a half to get there only to discover that they decided to close early. I attempted to speak with guest services, whose response was sorry, there is nothing we can do. When asked why, at first they said it was due to weather (it was overcast but the sun was coming out and I was wearing sunglasses). When I questioned that by pointing out the obvious lack of inclement weather I was told it was because there was not enough people in the park. In addition to seeing my children broken hearted, I was also mad because of the time and money I spent for no reason. I attempted calling customer service with the hopes of better answers. And again was told, sorry there's nothing we can do. Then, I was put on hold until the representative came back and basically said I was wrong there was bad weather. In a perfect world, some type of compensation would have been appreciated but I would have been content with at least an honest apology. With absolutely no reassurance of this not continually happening, I requested a refund of my passes. I was told no refunds, there is nothing we can do and good bye. I can't speak for experiences in the park but the arbitrary closing and apathetic customer service guarantees we will not be continuing with this park.
