      We took our children there to celebrate the end of school. We even bought season passes so that we could make a few evening visits over the summer. We drove an hour and a half to get there only to discover that they decided to close early. I attempted to speak with guest services, whose response was sorry, there is nothing we can do. When asked why, at first they said it was due to weather (it was overcast but the sun was coming out and I was wearing sunglasses). When I questioned that by pointing out the obvious lack of inclement weather I was told it was because there was not enough people in the park. In addition to seeing my children broken hearted, I was also mad because of the time and money I spent for no reason. I attempted calling customer service with the hopes of better answers. And again was told, sorry there's nothing we can do. Then, I was put on hold until the representative came back and basically said I was wrong there was bad weather. In a perfect world, some type of compensation would have been appreciated but I would have been content with at least an honest apology. With absolutely no reassurance of this not continually happening, I requested a refund of my passes. I was told no refunds, there is nothing we can do and good bye. I can't speak for experiences in the park but the arbitrary closing and apathetic customer service guarantees we will not be continuing with this park.

      Every year my family and I get season passes….we were there on Monday with 3 of my grandchildren…..when my youngest grandchild asked to to go on the Birdnest ride,,,after I belted him in I went to belt myself in and the seat belt did not fit me not every parent or in my case grandparent do not have small frames…..I had to be embarrassed and explain to a 3 yr old why I had to take him off the ride….Please take into consideration to make the seat belts larger or offer an extender so more people are not embarrassed and disappoint their children or grandchildren…..thank you

      I had a very bad experience with one of your employees and the manager that was on duty on September 11. 2021. Her name is Ashanti B****. She refused me and my 2 daughters entry to Dorney Park on this date due to a Private Event that was happening. I had spoke to a representative the day before to inquire up until when I can use my pass. She mentioned September 13th. I advised her that I would be going on 9/11 with my daughters before school began that Monday. The representative on the phone failed to inform me that there was a private event on this date. I get to the park from NYC pay for the parkin and purchase food and drink items only to come and find out that I was denied entry after driving 3 hours and spending unnecessary money. Ashanti was very rude and said there was nothing that she could do. I asked for a manager and she gave me a phone # that led me back to her! Very Unprofessional and rude! I am seeking to get refunded and have my passes extended through 2021. I was not able to bring my daughters and they were devastated. Your staff member was very rude and had zero compassion towards the situation.

      July 27, 2021 Dear Dorney Park Representative, My name is Mina Quarles, I am the block captain in a West Philadelphia neighborhood and I am writing this letter with great disappointment. I planned a neighborhood friends and family field trip to Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom for Sunday, July 25, 2021. I contracted a bus company to transport over 54 individuals ranging from ages of 3 through 80 from Philadelphia. I reviewed your website for group sales information. To clarify the details, I called the Group Sales Office to confirm costs. With each phone conversation I had with a representative from group sales, I was told that I only needed to bring the group to receive the discount, and that I must stop at the group sales office to purchase tickets on the day of arrival. This was exciting news because I believed we were all set to have some fun. Ms. Turner, a neighbor on the block and co-block captain, placed a call to group sales to confirm the information I had received. She was provided with the same information, “stop at the group sales office to purchase tickets on the day of arrival”. At no point during our conversations with group sales were we informed to purchase tickets online prior to visiting the park. We learned this information upon our arrival to the park on July 25, 2021, while speaking with Jazmine. Had we had this information, we most certainly would have purchased our tickets online and avoided being disappointed. While speaking with Jazmine, she did not seem to care about the issue because she said, who did you speak with in group sales, then she proceeded to say “there is nothing she can do and told us to go to the regular park window to purchase tickets. It was learning that we will not receive a discount and Jazmine’s lack of concern that prompted us to ask for a manager. Hoping the manager could help resolve our issue, I explained our situation and the manager allowed us to purchase 54 tickets at a rate of $41.99 + taxes per ticket, giving me a total cost of $2, 267.46. This is well above the expected price of $1, 782.00. The unexpected costs of $485.46, is frustrating for a neighborhood that does not receive funding. Since, I did not want to disappoint the children and others, I paid the additional fees. I am disheartened that Dorney Park could not accommodate my group size with discounted tickets, and that group sales did not provide clear communication regarding ticket sales. Our visit to Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom was a neighborhood event. It was a way for family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy hanging out with one another. For me, it was a day spent frustrated.
