Alpine Pools put an inground pool in for me in 2002,now I need a skimmer replaced, and there's no one in my area that will work on pool,if they didn't install it. I reached out to Alpine pools, after getting my money of installing pool to begin with, now they don't come this far. I understand they might be short on workers, but this really is not my problem at this point. I have a 20 some thousand dollar pool, that can't even be used. I think they should back their product,if they can install it,they should work on it. Thank you **** *******Customer response

We had an above ground pool installed by Alpine Pools in late June of 2021. Included in was a heater that we purchased from Alpine as well for $2000 that was installed by them. In early June of 2022 the heater failed. We called Alpine and talked to the service manager, who has a terrible attitude, and they sent a technician. We were told at this time that the heater was calcified, wasn't covered under warranty, and that this was our fault and it needed replaced. We replaced this heater with the same model, a Pentair 125, for $2241. The heater failed after just 1 week. We called the service manager, Bob, and were told we would be calling him all the time because things are not made well anymore. They sent a technician that replaced the chimney flue and said that should fix it. It failed 2 weeks later. They again sent out a technician who snaked the system and said it was calcified again. After 3 weeks total, 1 week for the initial failure that the flue obviously didn't fix we are being told that this isn't covered and would need replaced. So I spend $2241 and it lasts basically a week and I'm not 100% sure that we didn't get a used unit as it did not look brand new. Mind you we have been actually taking our water to Alpine for testing and following their recommendations one of which was to add Calcium. "It's good for the heater" we were told. This is all on record at Alpine Pools. We are sick of having the blame thrown at us and would like this company to back their faulty product as nicely as they were when we were spending $14000 on the pool. One question that really bothers me is when a technician said that they are seeing a lot of this the manufacturers fix was to put a chlorine puck in the skimmer and run the filter until it was dissolved, If there wasn't an issue with this product, why is there a fix? All I want is a heater that actually works and to stop throwing the blame on us and giving us the run around.Customer response
