I called within the last few weeks to get a same day appointment I was having issues with my left ear. Upon my call being answered by Helen, I was told I wasn't in the system, that a letter of discharge was sent to me. I called on another date to speak to the office manager and explain I am for one, homeless and staying in a motel in Duncansville with no car and two that my family was struggling personally as we were caring for our very sick mother at home, which she passed away May 31, 2022. The office manager never bothered to call back even after giving that information to one of the staff members of the practice. I'm really upset bt this for one the lack of professional courtesy where the office manager refused to contact me as well as the fact I had been a patient there since I was 19 years old, I'm now 31 and I would have much preferred to stay there. The doctor I saw there, Dr. Levi D******* even knew my mom and how sick she was, because he was her Doctor while doing his residency through ****** ******* ****** ********** years ago and we talked about her at every appointment. The day I called in about my ear, after Helen told me I was discharged, I was going to ask for the office manager but Helen hung up on me before getting the chance to ask. I'm really finding that professionalism isn't a strong suit of the practice. All I needed was 5 minutes of time from any Doctor at the practice to look at my ears and refer me to an ENT, I actually was already in town when I tried making the appointment. Now I have no PCP and I'm not a huge fan of using Doctors specific to ************ like ***** ******* or ******** ******* but unfortunately that's where I'm being pushed to go now and I can't even get in until freaking October. THANKS! I at least cancelled my appointments and wasn't a no show.
