***** ****** was in an accident on 10/5/21. *** could not be there in time to tow the vehicle, so the police said it needed to be moved due to pending darkness. I asked if I could drive it home. When the employee of CP Fletcher arrived, the officer asked him if the ****** was drivable. The employee of CP Fletcher told us NO. When I was able to pick up the vehicle, 48 hours later (although CP charged me for 3 days), *** asked how we could get to the car to get it on the bed. The same employee who towed the car told me to just pull the car down. I said, "I thought the car couldn't be driven?" He replied, "Oh yeah, you can drive that car." I was less than a mile from my home and could have driven the vehicle from the crash site. Under the advisement of a trained professional, I was told it needed to be towed...then only to be told I could drive it, after I had paid for 3 days of storage (which actually was less than 48 hours).10/8: I spoke with Manager/Owner who would not give his name.

      To whom it may concern,
On October 5, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., C. P. Fletcher Motors Inc. was dispatched by Upper Dublin Police to a vehicle accident for one car to be towed. The accident was at *********** Road and **** ********** Ave a high traffic area. When the tow truck arrived at the accident the owner of the 2006 ***** ****** stated he had *** to tow his vehicle. The police said that *** would take too long to arrive and the vehicle was blocking safe traffic flow. .
The owner then asked the police if the car could be driven home. At that time the officer asked the tow truck driver if it could be driven. He replied no it couldn't be safely driven and would not be responsible for possible further damage or safety issues.
The front grill valance was dislodged along with the hood and something was hissing in the engine compartment. If we as the owner called us, “professionals”, were to allow the car to be driven and an air bag deploys, or something else brakes causing another accident involving bodily harm. We as "professionals” could be held libel for allowing the vehicle to be driven.
The officer then told the tow truck driver to tow the car to the yard.
The car was movable on its own power at our yard but not able to be safely driven on the highway. There is a difference in driving on the highway and moving on a lot to load a vehicle onto a tow truck.
When *** came to pick up the car the driver said they could not get the car out of the "cage”, there was no room for him. There was plenty of room, our driver got it in there. The . *** driver could not drive a flat bed truck. The *** driver told the owner to drive the car out to the tow truck, which he did with car body parts dragging on the ground.
Storage fees are charged by calendar day in and day out. Just like a parking lot. Pay for as full day regardless if you only stay half a day.
The towing and storage fees are set by the Upper Dublin Township Resolution #******* Dated 02/14/2012
      Yours,
      Craig *. F*******,

      President
