I purchased a 2014 ********** ****** with them on 10/31/2021. During the purchasing process I explained that there was several electrical issues with the vehicle. Display , lighting and radio issues. I picked up the SUV the first Saturday in November. 2021. After driving it for several days the electrical issues started to show up again. The vehicle went back in the shop they reset the MDI. Within a few days the problem occurred again. Sent over some pictures. I continued to have problems. I tried not to complain about the on going issues. Fog light on the passenger side on continuously. Finally had enough when then the weather got very cold. Saturday 1/22 air was heard coming into the vehicle. Checked every window no problem going up or down. The problem turn out to be with the sunroof. When I opened it only the driver side would open. the passenger side stuck and a popping noise heard .Upon closing the sunroof stayed open on one side. Called the dealership explained that this still under the 3000 or 90 day warranty. Took it in today 1/26 they refusing the repair under warranty. Charging me $169..00 per hr each to inspect the sunroof and electrical. So 338.00 just to check these issues. The vehicle is still within warranty , already complained several times of the on going electrical issues. ** has a disregard to honor it and previous confirms. I feel this should be covered there is/was recall with water seeping into the sunroof. (known ** issue) and address the electrical issue at no charge. I spoke with their advisor I told him of the issues, the vehicle was still under warranty. Would be going out soon. At no time did he tell me it would not be covered. Different story once I brought it in. Please adviseBusiness response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: They refused to take any ownership of the sunroof malfunction other than I should have purchased a warranty. There was no regards to the situation at hand. The sunroof was not lubed before selling it to me.
They kept the vehicle for several days before providing me with a 4K cost of repair quote.
They ran the warranty out before returning the vehicle to me.
They never offered to just close it. Only a bill to repair. I request pictures of the damage to access the repair cost.
It was never provided. Only told the tech was going off of previous sunroof repairs.
So they just washed their hands of the issue and said it was my problem.
Paid 16, 995.00 for this vehicle. Only 2 payments were made on the vehicle before this happened.
Took it two other ** dealerships one would only give a 8k trade in for it.
The other noted that Piazza should have been able to run a diagnose to provide what problem was with the sunroof.
Piazza was never able to provide any pictures nor a diagnose read out of the problem.
Along with the spark plug needed replacement, brake and coolant was old needed replacement.
There was a tire issue. Yet they sold me this vehicle.
So I had to either put another possible 5k into it or trade.
In order to have a reliable vehicle I had to take a $7000.00 loss on a vehicle I purchased less than 90 days.
So I do not agree with them that it does not matter because I no longer have the vehicle.
They did not maintenance the vehicle properly before they handed it over to me.
I this was done still have the vehicle.
Would have not have to decide if it was worth putting and additional 5k or more into a 2014 vehicle.
Making the cost in less than 90 days $21,995.00. Not knowing what else could go wrong with it.
Best regards,
When the cost of repair and additional issues that would need to be address. I had to take a loss and purchase another vehicle.
Regards,

To whom this may concern,
During initial inspection of this vehicle the sunroof was 100% operational. There were no issues with the sunroof when the customer took delivery of the vehicle.
Any issues that our client had experienced with the vehicle were addressed in a timely matter which did not pertain to the sunroof.
During the purchase process of this vehicle our client was made aware many times that the vehicle was to be sold with a 90-day Powertrain warranty. At that time our client was also offered multiple extended warranty options to cover components outside of the powertrain.
Our service department did take a few days to determine the issues with the sunroof when they arose to ensure the correct solution was presented. Once our service team presented the concerns along with the cost to repair the client became irate.
Our client then threatened to stop payments on the loan- which we explained would become another issue for our client. Our service team did offer a 20% discount on the repair considering the recent purchase but our client decided to decline the offer and pick up the vehicle and expressed she would be taking her business elsewhere.
