I Hired Avery Enterprises, Inc to install a new deck on my property in July 2017. Upon completion of installation, I informed the proprietor, *********************** that the slats were buckling and was told it would be taken care of. I also showed him the railing on one side of the deck was not laying flush to the post and should be, so he caulked it instead of finding out why it was not laying flush to the post like the other railing. Over the years I have called and called to inform him of the problems with the deck. One side of deck sagging, when it rains water does not drain and was told again it would be taken care of. We are now into 2022 and nothing has been taken care of!I did not file a complaint earlier because this company did work for me before in a satisfactory manner and I kept being told the problems would be taken care of. I was trying to give them a chance to right the situation.

      To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is in response to a compliant you received from one of our customers, ** ******* *******.

We have already talked to *** ******* and been out to the property to view her concerns. As we stated to her the problem occurred due to normal wear (rain, snow ect...)r and tear on the deck. The railings issue(damage) came from shoveling snow, that was not performed by us, Avery Enterprises, Inc. As, a courtesy to ** *******, because she is a reoccurring customer, we told her we would address her concerns, but she would have to wait, for we have other jobs that we must finish first. We have talked to *** ******* again on August, 13th and told her the same thing. As you are properly aware, we have never received any complaints since we stated our business in 1989. We strive for Excellent Customer Service! We will try our best to get *** ******* concerns addressed.

      Thank You
      ** *****, CEO

As I stated in my initial complaint, upon completion of installation of the deck in July 2017, I informed the proprietor, **** ******* the slats were buckling (no normal wear and tear, installation was just completed.) I kept calling in 2017 to inform him of the problems with the deck and each time I was told the problems would be taken care of. Water not draining after it rains, one side of railings sagging. I made no mention of the railing damaged by shoveling snow. What I said was one side of railing had to be caulked because it did not lay flush to the post like the other side and this was upon completion of installation with **** ******* caulking it not normal wear and tear.
I was never told I had to wait, I was always told it would be taken care of. Each year from 2017 to 2022 I would call to address the situation. None of what is going on with this deck is normal wear and tear.
**** ******* did come out to my property in 2022 to access the situation and I also received a call from him on July 25, 2022, August 15, 2022, and August 22, 2022 to inform me the problems would be taken care of.
