      I ordered a starter/generator (part *******) for my golf cart on March 23, 2023 from REDDIPARTSGROUPLLC on **** for $113.50 plus $7.95 WV tax. This item was advertised with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. I filled out the warranty information and emailed to them on March 31. This starter/ generator failed within the first 20 hours of use. After months of correspondence I was directed to ship this defective unit to **** ******* Bensalem PA. I paid another $27.00 to ship this defective unit for warranty replacement. They received this unit on July 3  (USPS tracking **********************). I have gotten the run around for months. This company still advertises this unit for sale (******* starter) and have at least 13 in stock. Please help resolve this issue with a refund or replacement. Thank you.

      And now reddipartsgroupllc is holding my replacement starter/generator hostage until I delete any BBB against them. This is extortion and is just not right. Please help!

      Hello,

      Thank you for the opportunity to reply to this complaint made by Customer (***********************) on 7/28/2023. Our Staff had been in contact with *********************** throughout the months of June, July, and August. ****** original purchase in March 2023 was made through *****'s Platform. There is a 30 day window for returning parts through ***** ***** had purchased and installed this product without any issue. The buyer did register for the Lifetime Warranty that we offer by email. Our Warranty program states that the Unit must be installed Professionally, all components of the system must be in working order or must also have been replaced. Once those steps are completed. If the buyer has an issue with an item and is looking for the item to be replaced under warranty, it must be inspected. This inspection requires the unit to be returned. (If outside of the 30 day **** window) Then, the unit must be returned at the cost of the buyer. If in fact after inspection, the unit is deemed to be eligible for replacement. The cost of the replacement shipping would be covered by us. ***** reached out to us about warranty replacement for his unit in early June of 2023. This was after the 30 day **** window of Free 30 day returns. We provided a return address for ***** and continued to stay in contact throughout the process. The Warranty also states that any product eligible for replacement would be replaced with an equal product. This buyer purchased a generator Manufactured in *****, and based on our Warranty we would need to issue an ****** Manufactured unit. We notified ***** that we had received his return, and that based on his proof of proper installation and component repair, that he would be eligible for a like replacement to the product in which he purchased. We asked that he be patient while we locate the same style Generator Manufactured in *****. All of this correspondence is available for review on ****'s platform. All prior to ****** Complaint filed on July 28th. We have since sent a replacement Generator. UPS TRACKING # 1Z6755110393699277 Delivered On Friday, August 11 at 2:11 P.M. at Front Door.       I received a replacement starter generator on Friday, August 11 and tested it today, Monday August 14. It is in working order. 

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
