On 3/30 dropped off a ***** vacuum for a tuneup. Had an idea from their website what a ***** tuneup should cost with and without parts. $59.95 plus parts if needed. Given a work slip. for a tuneup. Told to call for estimate. Called the next day and told it would cost $152.74. Not told anything other the price. Figured it needed parts. Gave permission to do the work. Picked it up the next day. Paid with credit card. Not given work order breakdowns or payment receipt. Figured payment will show on my credit card statement. Also dropped off a 2nd ***** vac for a tuneup. Working just fine. Vacuumed our entire house without issue that week. Not given a work slip for 2nd one. Told to call for estimate. On way out I asked what parts the 1st vacuum needed? Told it only needed a thorough cleaning, no parts. Decided to go home and check out their website again, to make sure I was overcharged. I called my credit card bank and disputed the charge. Have an open dispute. Attempted to get the estimate on the 2nd *****. Called four times. *** was not their. Given the run around by other technician. Finally spoke to ***. He knew about the dispute on the 2st *****, because I mentioned it to the other tech. I was told it needed parts and would cost a lot. I told *** it vacuumed our house just fine and only asked for a tuneup. Told him not to touch it and that I want it returned in the working condition when I brought it in. I had several email communications with ***. He didnt feel he overcharged me. Based on his responses, it confirmed my suspicions that I was overcharged and was attempting to make additional money on a 2nd ***** that was vacuuming just fine and only needed a tuneup. It was just used to vacuum our entire house. It was picking up dirt and needed to be emptied. The roller was not broken. I would like an an billing adjustment on the 1st ***** and the return of the 2nd ***** in the working order that it was when I dropped it off.
