I lived in their property in ********, ** from August 2021 to June 2022. Shortly after moving out I only received $50 from my deposit refund check. After months of trying to get an answer from them they told me that they sent me a $50 check and a $200 check separately. I've received the $50 one but never received the $200 one and have stated this to them multiple times. I was told by a manager at ************ that they would be sending me my check (with express shipping) back in November 2022 and I still haven't received it. I've called, texted, and emailed about this several times since initially contacting them in August 2022. They have been no help and every time I've contacted them they say they'll help and then do nothing. They continually brush me off and tell me they will "look into it" every single time I contact them about it. It's been several months at this point and I still haven't received the $200 check.Business response

The reason why ************ did not receive the $200 was there was damage left behind from the common area ************* chair. These damages were taken from her security deposit and she was sent a check for the remainder amount of $50. Attached is the ledger showing all charges to ************** account.Initial Complaint

It is a tenants right to live in a healthy and safe environment. I moved into prosper apartments on November 1, 2021. It became aparrent that I was suffering terribly from an allergy shortly after moving in. Finally on March 6, 2022, I realized there was mold behind the wall in my bedroom. I came home to termites in my living room and bedroom. Termites are attracted to smell of mold. After stabbing hole in bedroom, I found black substance with microscopic bugs attached. I contacted on site management as well as corporate. At first I was just scolded by on-site management for contacting corporate. ******************* and ************************* came to assess. Insisted I only had termites. No mold. Had ****** pest come out and assess . He too insisted on just termites. When he saw hole in my wall and looked in he spoke to ***** and they immediately left and said they'd be back to fill I hole. That's just what they did and then left without speaking. March 20th I had termites again. ****** was supposed to have been there to spray on March 6th per ***** . Contacted *********************** at corporate and next day ****** pest was here. Mind you, corporate never responds to me unless its to answer a "comfortable" question.I contacted ****** pest on March 7th as I was suspicious of there involvement since the property uses ****************. In hearing the answer from the receptionist , I can assure it was not a legitimate service call. I sent air samples to pro lab which confirmed 3 types of mold. Two of which can cause asthma and or lung damage. I brought this to the attention of the regional manager, ********************* who visited me on April 25th. Offers a uv light in conditioner but does not acknowledge the mold. I presented him with full documentation of everything that has occurred as well as pictures of affected area and mold sample. We now have been turned over to asset living who I am dumbfounded as to how to contact. So I continue to live with the mold that greatly affects my well-being.Business response

In or around March 2022, ****************** reported termites in or around the windows of her apartment living room and bedroom. The issue was timely resolved. As alleged in the complaint, it appears ****************** 'stabbed' a hole in her own wall to investigate for mold. Please note that damaging drywall and other interior surfaces of the apartment is a breach of the lease agreement and ****************** is or would typically immediately be responsible for any and all costs associated with correcting the same. To date, it's my understanding that no such costs have been levied on ****************** for damaging the leased premises.
Regardless, ****************** self-diagnosed organic growth within her bedroom wall. Team members at **************** retained professionals to inspect and test the area. All such tests returned normal levels.
****************** remains dissatisfied. The President of DLP Real Estate Management, affiliate of Landlord, has communicated directly with ****************** with regards to her allegations and the circumstances. After resolving the termite swarm in March 2022, inspecting the apartment in response to the concerns expressed by ****************** and finding now normal levels of spores given the location, the President of DLP Real Estate Management offered to allow ****************** the opportunity to vacate the premises without penalty. ****************** refused.
Ownership and property management has exhausted efforts to inspect and remedy the on-going complaints from ******************.

The onsite management team has given you false information. They then managed to insult me even further.
First, I did not “stab” holes in the wall. The man from pest control drilled two holes at managements request. Supposedly he was to determine the reason for termites eating their way through my bedroom wall. He was also there to spray per management. He did nothing. It wasn't until 10 days later after another swarm that they were called in to spray This is what you call a "timely manner"?
Next issue is the false statement you provided about results of a mold test that was done. No such thing happened. If it did, then you are in violation of my tenant's rights. I am to receive notice of anyone entering my apartment unless it's an extreme emergency. You are also in violation by refusing to address and remove mold. I have suffered terribly do to your negligence. I had a mold sample tested by a reputable lab and the results were conclusive for 3 types of mold. Two of which are known to cause hay fever, asthma, and hypersensitivity to pneumonia just to name a few.
As far being difficult to work with, I never requested anything except to have mold removed. The DLP president offered me to get out of my lease but wanted it done quickly. The regional manager offered a different apartment, but there were no 1st floors available. Why a new apartment if there is nothing wrong as you all insist?
I reject your response as it holds no truths. I can provide documentation to substantiate the truth.
