  Contracted the electrician ******************* with Smiling Dutchman Electricans, LLC. He gave me a quote on 6/29/22, for $1,909.67. To do the electrical for our above ground pool. I wrote a check 7/6/22 for $960.00, he required half to get supplies.He had told me he would get the job done last summer (2022). He asked us (my husband and I) to call ***********. I previously worked for a electrical contractor and the homeowner is not to call ***********, they even told us that. Which we did and had to do it twice cause there is a deadline. He didnt come until the last ***********. He came on 9/3/22 to do the trenching, ran the conduit and put in the panel by the pool. He told us he would come back on 9/10/22. We havent heard from him since. My husband reached out to my via email, and was told he had COVID, then another time he said his wife had him doing stuff around the house. I have sent three email attempts 10/18/22, 10/27/22 and my third attempt on 12/26/22. I have not heard anything. No communication at all from him. I thought supporting a local contractor would be a good thing. I am finding out, not so. I found him through a ************** page I am on called You Know Youre from Fleetwood If You go on there looking for local contractors, advise with issues etc. He had responded to me looking for a local electrical contractor to do the electrical for our above ground pool. He came out, gave the price and said he could do it and have it completed last summer (2022). And so, here I am. We have been having a very difficult time finding a reasonably priced electrical contractor to do this work.
