      On August 19, 2022, I moved out of my apartment located within the Congress Street Apartments. I was told my the property manager, Tracy M******* that I would receive my security deposit within 30 days. It has been more than 30 days, and I have yet to receive my deposit and the communication about this is vague and lacking. Additionally, these apartments are certainly falling apart. I had several heaters explode and soot ruined several of my person items, black mold was covering my closet and ruined luggage, clothing, and important documents, and the landlords often place the blame on the tenants rather than take ownership for their poor maintenance.

      Hello,

      I have attached a copy of the previous tenant's lease agreement that states security deposits will be returned within 30 days of the term of the lease. Even though the tenant left the premises around 8/19/22, her lease terms were until 8/31/22. In which case, the deposit will be returned by 9/30/22. 

      I have also attached the renter's insurance disclaimer that states we are not responsible for personnel items damaged. We strongly suggest to all tenant's that they obtain rental insurance for this reason* **** has signed both of these documents that she understood both items. 

      All maintenance concerns that were reported to us, were responded to within 24-48 hours depending on the level of emergency. All items she had reported during her time with us were closed with maintenance and addressed.
