Bought a horse on Horsebid, Monday, 9/19.. He was listed as an 11 yr old horse.. I bought him for $12,000.. Horse arrived at my stable on Wed, 9/21 -- I knew when I saw him, he had issues. Horse arrived with a snotting nose, major drainage, was forging, back leg would knuckle over. Called Kris, told me the horse left him healthy, could be due to the temp change. Forging was due to him needing his feet trimmed.. Reality, the horse - Kansas is 25++ years old, he is forging and off balance due to his age.. The horse is not stocky.. See attached photos, nose, feet, built, etc.. and description from Horsebid. I paid $12,000 for Kansas, which if he was 11 would be worth the cost for me. Told Kris of my major dissatisfaction, and I wanted a full refund.. He advised no refund, but would trade the horse for another one that he might have. Kris referred me to the terms and conditions of Horsebid. Kris S**** owes Horsebid. So how do I deal with the website, when the owner is a dishonest horse broker??? How can he advertise lies about a horse and not be held accountable. I have since found out others are in the same boat that I am in.. I have bought horse online from other websites, all have been truthful and I have never encountered a true horse crook until Kris S****....
