The wedding venue had double booked and made it so hard for us because we were only having the ceremony there and the other bride was having ceremony and reception so they were making more money off of them. My daughter was the first person to book in 2021 a year ago June and the wedding coordinator had seen in May that there was a check but date down because this other couple wanted that date and the owner was trying to make my daughter change her times and she was not doing that the invitations were all ready printed. Brenda gave us the hardest time and was very rude to the photographer and my daughters mother in law while we were there for a visit. Brenda even got in my face while we were there and she said we were lucky she was accommodating us meanwhile she cashed the check. Very unprofessional and RUDE. The wedding coordinator tried very hard to also reason with Brenda on how this was wrong but she did not care. All I want is the $600 back. We had to go somewhere else.Business response

In response to the info from ******** ******
******* and her fiance came to my open house in 2020 and ask to book our facilities for a wedding ceremony in 2021
I took the deposit of $600.00 and cashed the check in 2020.
Someone contacted me for the same date and wanted to use the barn facilities only.
THis was a win win for both parties.
I contact ******* and told her about the plans, explained that the other couple would be coming later in the day and using the barn area only.
There would be no conflict because of the time and areas use..
She was not real responsive about this and I gave her the opportunity
to cancel and get her $600.00 refunded. She declined and insisted that she still wanted to have her ceremony at the pond and gazebo area.
As we started to discuss the plans she was concerned about the weather so I purchased 2 tents in case of bad weather.
As time came closer to the date she wanted to increase her time and area for pictures. This was not part of the deal.. So the week of the wedding she called and said she decided to not have her ceremony at our venue.
I said fine, so I do not feel she is entitled to a refund.
I worked very hard to accommodate her requests.
