Paid J C Tree Specialist the amount of $4000 for a whole lot tree removal which includes tree stump removal. The contractor did not fulfill what was agreed upon and I ask for a partial refund for an incomplete jobBusiness response

My name is *******. I am Joseph H****s secretary for his business JC Tree Specialist. We received a letter from you reguarding ******* ********* complaint (ID #********) ** ********* still owes $2,000.00 for the job that was completed. One of our workers went to go do the stumps and *** ***** ********* told him she would not move the car’s and to get off the propertyCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:The company JC Tree Specialist was paid a total of $4000 to do the entire lot of my property including the tree stumps in two installments. *************** was hired in March. He demanded the final installment to be paid before completion and was paid the final installment. The job was put on hold because **************** was doing other jobs in between not related to my property. Once I addressed the situation to **************** and asked him to complete the job immediately via text, he became irate and unapproachable to discuss a solution so I terminated his services by **** and demanded a partial refund for anything that was incomplete. He then sent a worker from his company to my property a day after I requested the refund, and was told my by wife not to do the work and that we prefer a partial refund because of **************** behavior and the continued delay of the work
