      We bought a cake from this bakery. It was out together wrong that it fell in the car. I called and complained but then my smash cake was stale. Instead of being a responsible business owner she began harassing my family and friend by calling us names like bitch, asshole, and idiots. Called our work places and threatened a lawyer all because we left a bad review.

      I sold a cake to ******* which was picked up Easter Sunday, approximately 45 min later I received pictures of the cake totally demolished. At that time she asked for a refund and I told her Sorry, I am not and can not be responsible for products once they leave my possession. Then her brother, friend or father ******* ******* started sending me messages calling me pond scum, **** ******* ***** ** **** and said I looked like I was birthed by Snuffelluggagus and miss Piggy! Throughout the day I was harassed by ***** **** same person as mentioned above created another account after I blocked him under his original. Then all the little friends at the party (ages 17-43(*****) started sending harassing messages and posting things that were not true. I am 65 years old and have been making cakes since I have been 18 years old. I WELL KNOW how to support and assemble a cake! I was accused of having toothpicks throughout the smash cake-total lie. There was a "1" placed on the cake with a bunny for picture purposes and I would think anyone with common sense would remove this before letting the child dig in ! The smash cake being accused of being stale was baked and iced approximately 6:30 the night before! First I am accused of not supporting the caked, then I am accused of placing straws in the cake. Which is it! I tried to explain to these people the STRAWS (one for each size of the layer you are placing on top) are placed to support the top layer! What did they think they were in there for to drink out of? Then I had *******s little friends post things about my personal life on my business page! THIS IS HARASSMENT and interfering with my livelihood. I have had to remove all this negativity from my pages on Facebook. Did I call them names, absolutely. These people ruined my Easter, harassed me for days after (6) and I sure did threaten an attorney my son is one. If this continues I assure you this entire group are going to go before a magistrate. Now to date this year I have made 237 cakes, 95% transported by customers and not an incident. These cakes can be viewed on my fb page. I spent 2 hours just decorating this cake and paid for ingredients and as I stated why would anyone think they were entitled to a refund because they had an accident with it?If she bought a cake at Walmart-majrt and dropped it in the parking lot would Way-Mart give her a refund? As I said I have been baking cakes for longer than her years and by looking at it I can tell you exactly what happened to this cake! These people are nothing but trouble and I refuse to take any further harassment. ******* is not getting a refund, I did my job. I am not in business to assume responsibility for their carelessness. I am especially not giving a refund after their harassing behavior. This is a joke, I don't know of anyone that checks BBB before ordering a cake from a home baker! Furthermore if these people are such experts on caking then they should have made their own.  I truly don't care about my BBB ratings nor am I registered with Dunn and Bradstreet, maybe they would like to contact them next!!!

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, I have no intention in pursuing this further. The matter is over and done with. I ask the business that they leave everyone alone and as they no longer want to proceed either. We do not want a refund but would like to be left alone from here on out and will have no further association with the business moving forward.
