This company was assigned to us by our Home Warranty Company, HSA. Our furnaces is broken. The claim was filed on 2/4/23. The first time Service Express came out was on 2/6/23. At the first appointment, the tech said he needed to order a switch and thought he knew what the problem was. On 2/16, they added a switch, charged me $360, and said he needed to order a transformer. I was promised by the manager the tech would be out on 2/25-no showed, again promised on 2/26-no showed. Showed up on 2/28, added the transformer and charged me $250 out of pocket but said he can’t fix it and I’d hear from someone ASAP to get it escalated to a senior technician. I was contacted today advising they will be out on 3/6/23. I’m out a lot of money and don’t have a working furnace. This company does not act with integrity. I was advised many customers are in my shoes with having to wait so long for a resolution. I have no faith he will even get it repaired in 3/6/23, but I’m sure they’ll the to take more money.Initial Complaint

This is in regards to my HSA Home Warranty claim, ********** involving my blower motor on my Central AC. Ultimately, I paid $225 to Service Express for, "Wiring Modifications" to get my AC working again in my home. I had to pay this out of pocket on top of the warranty coverage as HSA does not cover wiring modifications. However, upon watching the technician, Brenden from Service Express / Thunder Customs, install my blower motor as well as reviewing the wiring (before and after w/ photos uploaded), there were absolutely no modifications made. Wire for wire, the technician placed all the wires in the same position; including Brown to and from the capacitor, and the Red/Yellow/Blue/Black/White to the controller all in the same positions. Brenden did not even have to splice the connectors onto the wiring as the motor came ready to go. Why am I being charged $225 for wiring modifications when none were made? The technician simply unplugged the old wires and plugged in the new ones (individually) and did not even have to install the connectors or splice the wires? Absolutely no modifications were completed that would warrant a charge. Please refund my $225.
