Absolutely the worst customer service experience in over 50 years of being a consumer. This company was hired by GE Appliances to pickup my freezer that had failed after only a year of use. Both USP and GE explained that USP would pick up my old freezer when they delivered my warranty check to me. Initially GE caused delays by not sending the check to USP. The pick up was finally scheduled for the morning of 2/24/22. A truck showed up with 2 men later that afternoon. They proceeded to load the freezer and were about to leave when I asked about the warranty check. They stated they never deliver the checks. I asked to have MY freezer returned to my garage. I threatened to call the police if they didn’t unload the freezer. The proceeded to get in their truck and were laughing as they drove off. I called the USP office and they had no explanation as to why the men didn’t have the check with them when they came or why they said they never deliver the checks. The office staff did say though that my check was in their office and that they would mail it to me (2/24/22). After not receiving the check by the middle of March and numerous calls to USP and GE I finally convinced GE to stop payment on the first check and issue a new check. That was done finally done on March 25th. GE of course sent the check to USP instead of me even though they told me it was sent to me. After my 2nd call to GE in April and determining where the check was I called USP and they admitted they had my check and had “just put it in an envelope to send to me”. I asked it they knew if it was the first check (payment stopped) or the second check dated March 25th. I asked if they could open the check and make sure it was the right one. Their representative stated she couldn’t do that as she didn’t have any more stamps and she had to use her own stamp on the envelope. That conversation was on April 14th and I did receive my check on April 16th for a warranty case started on January 21st.
