Sean Barowski’s business didn’t follow the contract. Then he didn’t pay the guy he hired, and they had preexisting bad blood between them and he put a knife through my $9000 new rubber roof. I had them put on ridgevents and they didn’t even cut the roof they just screwed them on. Sean put on the wrong skylights and lied and said they don’t make mine anymore. He legally owes me $9200 and won’t pay. Run from this company. There’s going to be a news story on this company on the local news in feb or March, that’s how bad it is.Initial Complaint

Paid to fix flat roof 1 year ago.-Roof continues to leak. It is now worst than before. It continues to cause more and more damage. Ceiling drywall is now ruined. - Will not return phone calls, texts, or emails.- It's been 12 months.- In contract, flat roof has 15 year warranty.- Was paid to do other work, never finished the work.Initial Complaint

On 2-23-22, I contacted Central PA Roofers (****/Sean Barowski) about repairing our shed roof that had a few shingles blew off during a storm. They gave us an estimate ($408) and requested a $280 deposit which was paid on 2-23-22. On 2-24-22, they came to do the repair while I was at work. During the repair they sent an email saying they were at Lowes and wanted the OK to buy additional materials needed for the repair for an additional $217 (nails, asphalt cement, etc.). By the time I received the email, they had already purchased the materials and made the repairs. We never agreed to the additional costs. We still paid the remaining balance of $337 on 2-24-22 after the completion of the work ($617 total).On 2-26-22, the tiles on the roof section that they repaired blew off again during a rain storm. On 2-28-22, I sent them pictures and asked them to come down and repair them. They said they would be down. On 3-2-22 Sent another message. Replied on 3-3-22 that they would be down. On 3-16-22 sent another message. Replied that day that they would be down. On 4-1-22 sent a voicemail and message. Replied they would be down. On 4-22-22 sent a message. Replied that they would be down. In short, the company failed to fix the roof adequately, and included additional charges that I never agreed to. They haven't honored their 15-year workmanship warranty. I would like my money refunded.Initial Complaint

Work not as contacted or ordered. I ordered white got stuck with black. Paid for house roof to be done, to this date it is still not complete. Request the warranty documents. They have n ever arrived. Out building is not done properly there's not a square corner in the place. Work was sub par at best. Agreed contract was never met. Also this contractor does NOT get the legally obligated permits. I was told my 3600 plus would be returned to ,e but I can't get them to return it. This contractor states they will do the work then shows up to work without supplies and asks you to take them to go get the supplies and that's on top of your down payments. This contractor us using another persons ****** account. This contractor is using another person contractor license. This business needs to be stopped and investigated for fraud.Business response

The Job started as
1. Build and frame a barn with 4 walls with a door . Framing / metal siding , metal roofing .
2. House metal roof to Match after it is lathed out .
House stayed the same as scope , the barn became a much bigger project .
As we are framing 6 windows were added with another door. Added more framing amd labor .
The customer paid for wood need because of changes along with windows . The additional work for framing and cutting metal was not paid for . We were 6000.00 below any other bud she guitd and she took total advantage of our generousity and took project over because of multiple delays with her township and neighbor issues .
we still have not been paid . Job is complete .

I am rejecting this response because: nothing was done as stated. I did NOT pay for wood for changes. M******** speaking of wood he was told do not use my wood. What happened was he took payment and used my personal wood supply and told me to buy the rest and it would come off the bill, keep receipts. 3600 in wood I bought and at least that much in wood he sold from me. This man paid for nothing and took the money that was to pay for the supplies. Workers didn't have so much as a screw to do the job he sent them out to do. The work is incomplete, not a square corner anywhere. A visible cracked building. I paid the quay for the windows add ins not him. He claims the cost were related to changes but that's a lie since he didn't pay for anything. He took the money and provided nothing. He is using another licensed contractor I'd and he is using another persons ****** account and watch out because he doesn't even get permits. Fairview township is on to him and I warning others. This company is fraud business and he stole 3660 from me not counting the wood pile he used too.

On June 7, 2021 I hired Shawn Barowski dbs Central PA Roofers to replace both the front and back porch roofs that were leaking. On June 10th the work began and was completed on June 22nd. On June 28th the first rain after the repairs were completed occurred and I noticed the front porch was still leaking and the roof drain was completely filled with water. I notified Mr. Barowski on the 28th of the issues. He stated that he would order a new drain and come over to do the repair. Between the 28th and August 11th I had no response to emails or texts about when the repair would be made. Finally on the 11th someone was sent over to repair the front porch. That night we experienced a hard rain and I noticed that the front porch was still leaking and had additional leaks appear.The back porch also developed a new leak along the seam between the house and the porch; I notified Mr. Barowski not night. He sated that someone work be out to fix the issue. I have had no response since.
