I purchased a vehicle from AZ auto 12/12/21, 2013 *** ******** 103k miles for $10377 cash payment. On 12/24/21 while driving down a residential st the vehicle began smoking so I stopped car and exited the car moments later the vehicle was fire. After fire company put out fire vehicle was deemed a total loss. I later found that a sensor was supposed to be installed. *** advised me, the sensor was to alert driver when connections to engine where bearing down. If this upgrade would have happen *** factory warranty would have cover up to 150k driving miles.Business response

I am the General Manager of AZ Auto. I am writing about COMPLAINT ID ********; ****** *******.
We received a letter from your company that ***** ******* has a problem about her 2013 *** ********. I want to let you know that she did not purchase a 2013 *** ******** from AZ Auto and therefore, AZ Auto is not responsible for it. She bought a personal car and AZ Auto just did notary service for them. She knew it when she purchased it.
Ashley and her family members came to AZ Auto on 12/11/2021 to test drive a 2009 ****** ******. They liked the car but they did not want to purchase it because the car was old for them. At the same time the owner of a 2013 *** ******** stopped at our lot to get air for her tire. Ashley and her family members saw *** ******** and liked it. They asked if it was for sale or not. It is told to them that the *** ******** is a personal car and does not belong to AZ Auto.
The owner of *** ******** and Ashley agreed to sell and purchase a car between themselves. AZ Auto just did notary service between seller and purchaser and both of them signed titles as a seller and purchaser.
I will attach a copy of the title as a proof. Please see attached for copy of the title with both seller’s and purchaser’s signatures.

Hello *******,
We got ****** *******’s new message but we do not see anything new on this message. We already replied to those complaints in our previous letters. As we said from the beginning , AZ Auto is not responsible for the cars which are not purchased from AZ Auto.
However, we want one thing from A***** *******. Can she please send a written message that she did not know that *** ******** is a personal car before purchase. It is not told to her that the *** ******** does not belong to the dealership and it is a personal car.
We need to hear it from ****** ******* as a written message to add it to our records which we already have from purchase date.

I am rejecting this response because:
I believe for all the pain and suffering experienced court is the best decision. They're focus is on the possession of the vehicle instead of the actual condition of the vehicle sold. Again thanks for trying to help resolve this matter amicably.
