We were traveling north along 81 with our RV and realized we had lost a tire (dual axles). We immediately got off at the ***************** and hobbled into the Sheetz parking lot that is right off of ****************. My husband set to putting on the spare and there was too much damage to the lugs and we needed new ones. It was more than my husband could do on the fly, so we called our road side assistance through Nationwide. They only handle basic tire changes so we had to find someone to do it ourselves (thanks Nationwide!!!). It was after 5pm when we realized that, and most places were closed. I went into the Sheetz to talk to Tif the Manager to tell her what was going on and if it were ok that we stay there until we get help. She was so gracious and understanding and made us feel safe that we could be there as long as we needed. She gave us fountain drink coupons and let us come in and sit in the dining area to get out of the heat (there was a heat wave going on). We had dinner there (which was quite yummy) and freshened up in the very clean bathroom. An employee named *** was also there to assist us and she was very nice also. Luckily we were only two hours from home and our auto tech son and some friends came to rescue us. So, we were there about 6 hours. Knowing that we had a safe place to stay until we found help made the ordeal so much easier to deal with. Thank you Tif and *** AND Sheetz for hiring such good people!! We appreciate the help you gave us. We go to the sheetz in ** where we live all the time and wherever we are when we travel. We always find friendly employees, good food, and clean bathrooms.Review from Matt S

Sheetz has false and misleading advertising on their app and physical adds at their gas pumps with regards to their sampler apps. The add states 3/$6 on the app Home Screen. When you click on the sampler app suddenly its $6.49. This is for multiple locations in western **. Its a very broad deception that needs to be called out.Review from Kristin P

Beware of using a credit card here. They stole $29.66 from me when I purchased nothing and then refused to give my money back. Even the corporate office was no help, they literally lied and said I received tobacco products and did not review the register camera like I asked. Nothing but a bunch of crooksReview from Bruce K

This business do not take care of their customers and Im just tired! This evening I called just to verify hours and this very nasty young lady says to me I answered the phone didnt I .. I m done !!! I prayed for her but the madness must stop. My biggest thing you never know what someone is going through for her to talk to me like that, not knowing what I may be enduring is ridiculous. Its not right at all. Store ******************************************************** . They are not the friendly which ok fine but to disrespect me is a no no !!Review from Carrie C

I was severely disrespected and treated very badly, the manager was following me around acting like I was going to steal something but I have been in that store a thousand times and never once have I stole anything, I was judges by my tattoos and discriminated against. I don't appreciate it and you lost my business, I will never ship at a Sheetz ever in my life, and that's losing a great customer because I spent a lot of money there.Review from Victoria C

My younger brother, ****, recently turned 21 at the beginning of August and attempted to buy a 12 pack of Twisted Tea at Sheetz in ******** (across from Dunkin and the bank) last night, Saturday August 12. The current employee (female, older, skinny, short) said his license was fake, bent it in half (defacing the license and making it unusable) and told him he was on tobacco and alcohol ban at this Sheetz. His license is real as he has never had a fake ID. In fact, he bought alcohol from there a few days prior. If he is banned, she didnt prohibit the sale, have a conversation, or even scan his ID, just went straight to bending his ID. He now has to purchase a replacement ($40.50) and carry a temporary license with him because the bent ID is invalid. Has anyone had this happen to their child or brother? When he called the police, the Hampton officer who arrived was little to no help and said to take it up with corporate. If **** had a fake ID before and was attempting to legally purchase alcohol now, I would see the ban on his profile and the bending of his license. Hes never had a fake ID and truthfully, has all older friends. If he needed alcohol or tobacco, he didnt have to buy it himself. Has anyone else has a similar experience?Review from Marcella H

Yesterday on 6/28 at approximately 6:55pm, I was driving through the Fort Pitt Tunnels onto the ****************. I was behind a Sheetz gas truck operated by *************, whoever Sheetz contracts out to do their fuel transport in **. The truck driver was attempting to get over in order to connect to Route 28. There was not really that many cars around, which is pretty nice when trying to merge 5 different times in **********. At any rate, instead of doing his due diligence, this particular driver decided to cut across 3 lanes of traffic in order to get into the far right lane. Half of his front was in one lane and half of his bed was in the other lane. As you can imagine, Im a smaller sedan, so I was already in the farther right lane before he had time to cross. Truck drivers are usually taught first of all to anticipate other cars are going to be faster than them, and secondly every driver is taught to look twice before crossing over. Not only did he not look, he assumed he could bully any other cars behind him because he decided to take up the whole space in order to cross over multiple different lanes. Any driver knows to stay in the lane for a bit first before crossing into another lane when trying to get over multiple different lanes. Im sure delivering in this area is hard. Ive seen many trucks delivering many different materials in and around *** and Fort Pitt. They are usually patient and wait. If they have to hold up traffic and put their blinker on in order for someone to let them over into the lane they are trying to get in, they will. This action was completely unnecessary by this driver. He put my life at risk. Im not sure how you guys train your drivers, but especially with a Class C CDL transporting flammable materials, this was unacceptable. After all was said and done, he still had the audacity to give me the finger. The sad part is, if he wouldve hit me, he wouldnt have even known because the truck is so big. Pay attention. Do better.Review from Gert M
